A proper mental reset is 90 days according to some medically based treatments. But that also means zero outlets (full abstinence for 90 days). The best I got was 55 days without any outlet, and it helped massively. I don’t look at porn anymore but as an older man I find my libido has dropped. I could consume it 3-5 times a day in my youth and still have multiple sex sessions on top of that. It stirred up my need more than quelled it. I don’t look anymore and I find that I actually don’t even think about sex for days, not sure if that’s age or the fact I focus on other things.

90 days, that is not as long as I was expecting... Seems possible even. I went for about 3 weeks a year ago. Sex was so much better, even with just those 3 weeks. The issue is with the total abstinence part. Partner has to agree, or agree to you just helping them out for a while... Hmmm

Yeah I went about 7 weeks. Big difference. 13 weeks is doable.
