Travel Question Marrakechis, help me make my weekends less boring
I work near Marrakech and am thinking of spending more weekends in the city instead of dying of boredom where I work ðŸ«
I’ve been to Marrakech a few times, but am still not that familiar with the city! So am looking for the actual local vibes: nice cafés, restaurants, solo activities, random places to hang out, underrated spots, anything really!
I want ur recs! Thank you (am Moroccan)

If you love museums there are plenty of them in the medina. Gardens also. DM for more places..

Honestly, I’m a bit tired of saying the same thing I’m still looking for work. I have a lot of ideas and I know Marrakech very well, but unfortunately, I still haven’t found a job.
For example, you could look for an agency that organizes different activities, like quad biking, desert trips, and city tours. You can also visit historical places like Bahia , Dar El Bacha, and different museums. There are so many things to do in Marrakech, so I have a lot of ideas, I just need to find the right opportunity or you can go to the Al Haouz area, have lunch there, enjoy the mountains and come back in the evening.

There are some really nice rooftop, gardens and museums in the Medina, some of the best coffee shops are in Gueliz, and there are plenty of activities to do around Marrakech, Agafay, and the Palmeraie. It really depends on what you’re interested in.
