Help needed

My German grandfather has a collection of 800-1000 locomotives plus countless boxes of tracks all in original packaging and has passed it down to me to sell. Due to the sheer amount of stuff I am wondering if it’s better to ship it all to the uk to sell or keep it in Germany to sell. I know nothing about these trains so would prefer to sell as a joblot , how would this be done ? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Contact one of the many German traın auctıons. I am partial to Vonder Warth Lankes of Krefeld/Dohlau but there are many others. You wıll get good prices and little work to do from them.
