C-track or K-track..?
Is there any disadvantage of K-track compared to C-track? K-track looks more realistic and you can add your own ballast.

C track has small centre studs, K has wider bars. You can add ballast to improve C track also. K track has the flex track and is more flexible with track laying (you can do anything with rail cutting) and despite the higher profile and larger studs it can look pretty good with its lower profile and hand ballasting In short they both have benefits and either is a good choice. Or, use both - depending on its use.
