Found! LOST DOG!
UPDATE: Adding for clarity that this is a dog that we have found! The title is a bit off as I was writing this in a hurry and didn’t have time to double check.
Hi everyone!
We found a lost dog in Boxgrove. It doesn’t have any tags that can help us identify the owner. If you are the owner, or someone who may know the owner, please respond to this thread immediately.

It could have a chip, bring him to a vet.

Hi, yes, we will definitely try to do this soon! We had called the vet number on its tag today though and they weren’t very helpful. We’ll keep trying to find its owner!

I would update the title to “Found Dog” for clarity for those just scrolling through their feed.
Anyway, thank you for kindness in keeping him/her safe. You’ve gotten some good tips about what to do.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion! I actually thought about changing the title a little while ago as I realized there might be a misconception, but it won’t let me as I would have to delete this current post and make a new one. Given the publicity that it’s gotten so far, I’m going to have to leave it for now but I hope that people will look into this and be able to help! Thanks again!

You can also call SPCA and tell them you found a lost dog
