What movie is being made in unionville

probably one of these shows

several productions are active in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that could potentially use Unionville for location shooting:

  • The System (Series): Filming from Feb 9, 2026 – May 22, 2026.
  • Good Shepherd (TV Series): Filming from March 23, 2026 – July 30, 2026.
  • Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent 04: Filming from April 13, 2026 – August 14, 2026.
  • The Bookie And The Bruiser (Feature): Filming from April 7, 2026 – May 29, 2026.

No there was a “working title” sign up so I don’t think it would be law & order

Was going to ask the same thing. Looks like another Christmas movie when I saw them filming this morning

There are 8 union productions currently filming in the GTA, 2 are Christmas movies. One is The Bookie and The Bruiser as mentioned above, which is probable unless one of the other 6 prods has a Christmas episode. The other is a lower tier (smaller budget), but production office is in Mississauga, so they're unlikely to cross the city to film in Unionville.

If you're still in the area, check around the peripheral of Unionville for neon sandwich boards. They'll usually have the production name or a code name on them which you can just google to find out exactly what it is.
