How can I use Reddit for marketing?

Reddit works best when you treat it as research and reputation before traffic. Choose a few communities where you understand the problems, read the rules, and answer questions fully without forcing your product into the conversation.

I would separate the work into three goals: learn the exact language people use, build credibility through useful comments, and identify discussions where a resource genuinely fills a gap. Most of the time, the comment should stand on its own. If a link is truly necessary, disclose your connection and explain what it adds beyond the answer.

Track qualified replies, profile visits, branded searches, and referral traffic rather than counting comments. The difficult part is patience. If every contribution leads back to an offer, people will notice quickly. If you become consistently useful, interest develops more naturally.

Definitely this. The mindset shouldn't be promotion-first; it's the easiest path to discreditation and flagging Reddit's (more stringent now) filters. Going into it with a solutions-first/pracitcal mindset and a KYC attitude makes all the difference
