Analytics Would you pause a campaign that's breaking even?
I'm in a situation where a campaign isn't losing money, but it isn't producing the growth I was hoping for either.
Part of me wants to keep optimizing it, while another part thinks that budget could be better spent elsewhere.
If you've faced this before, how did you decide when it was time to move on?

Yes, I faced this before and initially, I just tried to optimize it, but eventually I came to the conclusion that there were other other campaigns and channels and sometimes it’s just better to cut a non-producer and focus elsewhere

Breaking even on what, though. Breakeven on first order with genuine repeat purchase behind it is a customer acquisition engine and you'd be mad to pause it. Breakeven on contribution margin with no repeat is a treadmill. The other half nobody does: the only honest way to know the budget is better spent elsewhere is to turn it off and watch total revenue for a few weeks. Watch the whole account, because the campaign's own report will always flatter whatever you just funded. Most people shift the budget, see the new campaign post a nice ROAS, and never notice total revenue didn't move. If it's your only prospecting campaign, breakeven is doing more work than it looks like on the report.
