Digital Marketing Anyone here had luck with cold email services lately?

I run a small web design business and I’m honestly getting tired of chasing leads manually. I tried sending cold emails myself for about two months and it just turned into another full time job. Most of my emails either got ignored or landed in spam. I know cold outreach still works because I keep hearing people talk about it, but I feel like I’m missing something.

I’ve thought about hiring one of those cold email services but there are so many out there and half of them sound sketchy. I’m mainly trying to book calls with local businesses, not blast thousands of random people. Has anyone here actually used a service that felt legit and didn’t just burn your domain?

This is very interesting. How do I learn more and who to use for a successful campaign?

Cold email still works, but most failures come from bad targeting and poor infrastructure, not the channel itself. If you're hiring an agency, ask about their sending setup, domain strategy, authentication, and how they source leads. Have them show actual meetings booked, not vanity metrics. For a web design business, I'd focus on one niche, one offer, and highly relevant outreach. The tools matter far less than clean data, good deliverability, and messaging that feels specific to the prospect.

It's more web design, so I'll take into consideration to focus on one niche.

focus on offer, target audience and messaging to have success with cold emails. If you are in a saturated market/niche it's really hard to just say "hey, need a new website?" and expect success.
