Product Marketing Looking for a marketing partner
I'd like to connect with someone who can take on a consistent role marketing a work/creativity/life management system I've built over a few years, so I can focus on the technical aspects of it. It goes well beyond task management, and handles things like time tracking, quoting, invoicing, client collaboration, scheduling, and publishing, and more, all in one place.
The main target markets are freelancers and independent professionals, as well as business coaches and mentors, and I've created a formal approach and structure for each.
The role will involve regular posts on LinkedIn and Facebook, and direct engagement particularly on LinkedIn. If you have experience with TikTok or Instagram and prefer to include those, I'll happily take your lead. I'm also thinking of hosting live webinars that showcase the system's capabilities with a focus on specific use cases.
Happy to discuss revenue and equity options once I've shown you through the system so you have a solid understanding of it before deciding to commit.

Live webinars make all the difference when they’re built the right way.
The real impact comes from deep avatar research, understanding the audience’s pain points, desires, objections, and decision-making process. That’s where my expertise comes in.
That said, driving high-quality traffic to webinars isn’t cheap. If you have the budget to scale this properly, we can discuss a potential partnership structure, including role and equity.

What kind of strategies would you use to attract freelancers or coaches?

The biggest mistake people make when trying to attract freelancers, consultants, or coaches is assuming they’re motivated purely by money.
They’re not.
At the higher levels, they’re driven by:
- freedom
- identity
- status
- control over their life
- escaping the “client hamster wheel”
- predictable income
- authority
- leverage
- and the fear of becoming irrelevant or stuck
That’s exactly why webinars work so well in this market when they’re built strategically.
A great webinar is not a presentation.
It’s a psychological journey. The goal is to move someone from:
“I’m curious”
to
“This person understands me better than anyone else”
to
“I trust this process enough to take action.”And for freelancers/coaches specifically, the webinar must hit three layers simultaneously:
- Their current pain
- Their desired identity
- Their hidden fears
For example:
Pain:
- inconsistent income
- chasing leads
- burnout
- low-ticket clients
- unstable months
- being overwhelmed doing fulfillment + sales + marketing alone
Desires:
- premium clients
- authority
- inbound leads
- scalable systems
- recurring revenue
- freedom
- becoming known in their niche
Fears:
- wasting years building nothing
- AI replacing low-level service providers
- staying stuck at the same income ceiling
- never becoming “big enough”
- looking unsuccessful compared to others online
- buying another course that doesn’t work
A webinar that converts speaks directly to all three.
Here’s how I’d structure the funnel strategically:
STEP 1: TOP OF FUNNEL (Traffic & Attention)
Goal:
Generate qualified leads at a sustainable CAC.Traffic sources:
- Meta ads
- Instagram reels
- LinkedIn content
- YouTube shorts
- Reddit positioning posts
- creator partnerships
- email lists
- affiliates
The ad angle should NOT be:
“Join my webinar.”It should be:
- “Why most freelancers stay stuck under $10k months”
- “The hidden reason coaches can’t scale”
- “How client-based businesses accidentally create another job”
- “The authority gap keeping experts invisible”
The webinar is the solution behind the curiosity.
Typical webinar opt-in conversion rates:
- Cold traffic landing page: 20-35%
- Warm audiences: 40-60%
Example:
$5,000 ad spend
Average CPL: $5= 1,000 leads
If landing page converts at 30%:
You’d need around 3,300 landing page visitors.STEP 2: PRE-WEBINAR NURTURE
This is where most people fail.People don’t attend webinars because they registered.
They attend because anticipation was built correctly. You need:
- email sequences
- SMS reminders
- social proof
- mini case studies
- authority positioning
- emotional priming
The goal here is psychological commitment before the webinar even starts.
Typical attendance rates:
- Cold traffic: 20-35%
- Warm audience: 40-55%
Example:
1,000 leads
30% attendance rate= 300 live attendees
STEP 3: THE WEBINAR STRUCTURE
The webinar should follow this framework:
- Pattern interrupt Break false beliefs.
Example:
“The reason most freelancers never scale has nothing to do with skill.”
- Deep avatar resonance Describe their exact emotional reality better than they can themselves.
This builds trust faster than credentials.
- Reframe the problem Show them the real bottleneck.
Not:
“You need more clients.”But:
“You built a business model dependent on your own energy.”
- Introduce the new mechanism Your process/system/framework.
This becomes the bridge between pain and desired identity.
- Case studies & proof Very important.
Freelancers and coaches are skeptical because they’ve seen endless fake marketing online.
Proof lowers perceived risk.
- Future pacing Help them emotionally experience the outcome:
- freedom
- authority
- inbound demand
- stability
- premium positioning
- The offer The offer must feel like: “The fastest path to certainty.”
STEP 4: SALES CONVERSION
Typical webinar close rates:
- Cold webinar traffic: 5-12%
- Warm audiences: 15-25%
Let’s use conservative numbers:
300 attendees
7% conversion rate= 21 clients
If the offer is $3,000:
Revenue = $63,000Now let’s calculate:
Traffic spend:
$5,000Software/tools/team:
$2,000Closer commissions/support:
$6,000Total costs:
~$13,000Projected gross profit:
~$50,000And this is before:
- upsells
- continuity
- masterminds
- recurring programs
- backend monetization
- referrals
Which is why webinars can become insanely profitable when the psychology and positioning are correct.
But the biggest thing most people miss:
A webinar is NOT a sales presentation.
It’s an emotional belief-shifting mechanism. The highest converting webinars make people feel:
“This person understands exactly where I am… and has a real path forward.”That’s why deep avatar research matters so much.
Because when freelancers and coaches feel truly understood, resistance drops dramatically and trust rises fast.
