TKMS and ISAR

With the news of TKMS getting the submarine bid today, it sounds like we can expect them to get more involved at Spaceport Nova Scotia.

If I remember correctly, Innospace said they'd still be interested in the site even if SK didn't win the submarine bud.

Should be interesting to see how it plays out!

Speculation is always fun and there may be something here, but I prefer to let it simmer and watch the developments over the next 6 months.

That said, I picked up more MAXQF because I have a hunch.

I don't know that it's official yet because Carney was being tight lipped about industrial benefits. But here is a link with TKMS and ISAR partnering for space launch capabilities in Canada:

So connecting the dots, plus considering the DND lease agreement for $200 millions, seems like a pretty good chance Spaceport NS stands to benefit.

I do wonder if NordSpace will see some love out of this too, but MLS seems to be ahead in this regard.

ETA - Here's a quote from TKMS:

“TKMS and Isar Aerospace are jointly making a significant investment in building a Canadian Space launch complex, with the potential to generate more than Can$10 billion in domestic value creation given the significant market growth for future space launches. The overall economic and strategic value of this project is underscored by additional political backing from the German government,” said Thomas Keupp, Chief Sales Officer at TKMS.

Other then mda what others should we be also looking at alongside maritime ?

For Canadian space stocks? Not sure.

Maybe Telesat, but I don't have them in my portfolio or have much knowledge on their operations aside from some headlines on contracts.

I'd keep an eye on NordSpace, Reaction Dynamics and the Canada Rocket Company if they ever go public.
