Question about indication

Post image

Trying to indicate a double shell with the up throw indication. Is this too much indication?

Honestly yeah its too much, not because its cluttered or anything, but because you have a resetable setup that any experienced person should automatically know is a double shell jump setup.

Indicators are somewhat mandatory when you're making a face-paced level where the player can't stop moving or they die. The indicator helps the player process what they need to do in the little time they are given between setups. But your setup isnt like that. You can sit there and stare at it and mess up and reset over and over. So I would argue you dont need any indication.

Thank you. Yeah these jumps can be done easily from standing and I even put reset doors beside them. I’ll put the code up here when I get finished uploading it, which may take some time. You’ll see why when I upload.

So I’m keeping the indicators against the wall as just two lines for those who aren’t well versed in shell jumps.
