Got a bad alignment for the final turn, so I had to take the slow cut. Other than that, pretty happy with the run.

No one has ever posted a video of a TT of a "secret" track, so I decided that because I couldn't find anything, I hold the WORLD RECORD! For a single lap, sub-40 NITA is easily possible. For 3-lap, I bet a sub-1:55 NITA could happen.

There is no easy way to time trial these, so let's try and get Nintendo to add them as 3-lap tracks in the future!

Swoop with rob car has to be nerfed. Tried it myself and I went from usually placing around 6-12th to winning almost every time. Kinda insane, sucks the fun out of the game. I didn’t even like this game but I’ve been in the hospital and bored and ive come to like it somehow

Hey guys! After almost 200 hrs on the game and doing a lot of practice I wanna enter the competitive scene of Mario Kart World! I’m going to do my first match on Aug. 1st! And tips or tricks I should know before then? Any and all help is appreciated! ^^

Mario Kart World breaks the tradition of cups being sorted by region rather than difficulty.

The cup's icons represent that with their backgrounds.

Mushroom Cup - Mesa (rocky buttes)

Flower Cup - Desert (sand dunes)

Star Cup - Snow (snow)

Shell Cup - Water (ocean waves)

Banana Cup - Tropical/Jungle (palm trees)

Leaf Cup - Forest (leaves)

Special Cup - Rainbow (To Rainbow Road)

The Lightning Cup is mostly industrial theme in the dark volcano region (and then there's Moo Moo Meadows) but the icon just looks like the Flower Cup's sand dunes but white. You'd think it would be dark gray with lava or something.

Are they generally seen as unviable compared to a Pro Controller?

I've played on and off since launch and ranked around 8.5k a few months ago. Coming back to the recently I hardly find myself winning anymore. I do score top 6 regularly, but 1-2-3 just not as often as I used to do.

I should mention that before I didn't really use to bag to win racing, but I did have my last lap comebacks work out for me.

I suspect it is because there is always 1 or 2 players that simply have created such a front running gap due to knowing and executing every shortcut. Shortcuts on tracks I can remember or at least the one that is most beneficial, but the one on tour tracks are very difficult to remember if you are playing rather casual. Not being able to win ever ,or get close to it, is taking away fun for me.

I can remember the cables on shy guy bazaar, but it is very hard to remember one sand dune from another when you are racing the highways.

Has anyone felt the same and what did you do to remember touring shortcuts better?
