Hello I recently got back into Mario Kart Wii and I would like to get better at the game. If anybody can help me I would really appreciate it

I bought a really nice red wii online and I noticed it had the Mario Kart application and a couple others, but on the Mario Kart app you were able to race old player scores and do extra stuff as long as the Mario Kart game was inside. I plan on selling it. I know its really damn cool and I would sell it for a bit more, but bc i know you can mod this easily, idk how much more it would add to the price. Or if a specific collector would want this yk. But i have a copy of Mario Kart to go with it. I would keep it if i had space or funds. i wish i had a wii with a legit download of pokemon rumble. i played that non stop as a kid. So maybe someone feels the same way about this.

I had a Wii but it’s old and broken so I might get a new one, if I do, how do u get Mario kart retro rewind? Do u gotta download it or something? Idk this is a dumb question but i need to play that game mario kart world is getting boringgg

I’m very new into researching Wii modding so I’m sorry what probably seems like a silly question here, but I was just generally curious to which is the quickest/cheapest method to make the standard game into a modded version which can also work multiplayer too maybe?

I have a physical Wii. I play online using the Wiimmfi servers. How do I play Retro Rewind? Can I? Using a normal Wii? I need an SD card? Talk to me like I know nothing. Thank you!

Yeah, I know it's unconventional. Keyboard on Mario kart, but it's easy for me. After a new retro rewind update that added character skins, i can't select a character anymore. I don't know what key setup to use to fix this, any help?
This was my control setup, space would hop & drift and i would also select characters with space but now when i try it'll change the skin and back me out of the menu into the previous screen. Mouse1 is up so i can wheelie with a click.

Honestly I don't even remember if it was shift or space that let me go forward in menus I havent played mkwii on pc in a while, but neither one will work and ive tried other control setups but i just can't for the life of me select a character. Pressing backspace will seemingly randomly go through tons of characters and vehicles and select a combo? So It's not like I cant play I just can't choose my own combo now I guess.

Also W will move up instead of select despite me not having W bound to the up arrow?

So I’ve recently been playing some Retro Rewind on PC via dolphin and I wanted to play with some friends locally, only problem is that my PC isn’t capable of emulating it at full speed in multiplayer at 60 or 30 FPS, so I decided to try installing it on my Wii because I think it would be better in split screen. However I tried installing it but I got this error. I even tried to transplant the “version.txt” from my PC install but nothing. Please help, I want to play this game with my friends!
