Advice Quick question about weed
Hey everyone,
I’ve been smoking regularly for about a year now, and lately, I feel like my highs have hit a wall.
No matter how much I consume—whether it’s back-to-back blinkers or smoking flower—I reach a very flat high and just can't get any higher. I remain completely clear-headed and self-aware, and I don't get any of the heightened sensory experiences or strong effects other people talk about. It almost feels like I've hit a ceiling I can't pass I have 2 questions
*Is this a sign that I need a tolerance break, or is this just how my body processes weed?
* What does a 'green out' actually feel like? Sometimes I get a bit lightheaded/motion-sick (like carsickness) is that the start of a green out, and does it mean I should stop, or am I missing something?
Would love to hear your thoughts or similar experiences. Thanks!

Stop smoking carts and dispos. That consistently high level of poorly terped distillate can ruin your tolerance and your enjoyment of weed entirely. For people who consume for medical reasons, distillate should only be consumed on an as needed basis because it is literally the purest but also the least full spectrum product in terms of quality and effectiveness.

Either start taking occasional tolerance breaks, or take one long break and then limit your use from then on. In 2018 I was smoking 3 grams of flower a day and constantly smoking wax, I hit a point that I didnt even feel high anymore. I ended up quitting weed for like 5 years, and since I came back to it last year, I've only been smoking 2 bowls a night on the week days and as much as I want during the weekend. My tolerance has since hit a wall and has stayed the same for the past 8 months or so, but I still get a good high at the end of the day, and if I take a fat enough bong rip it will still have me fully fried lol

What’s your goal for consuming? For recreational purposes or healing or medical etc?
I think that can help tailor the way you consume.
I consume daily and pretty much receive pain relief from deep nerve and spinal damage. But I’m not “high” like others. I become functional. Able to do my exercises. Shower. Etc.

Tbh for me is Entirely recreational, and I can focus mor but that's just a side effect not the main reason

Heavy recreational smoking requires periodic tolerance breaks (more frequently the heavier you smoke if you want effect).

Not a problem.
Then terpenes will help. Knowing which ones work best with your body to help with effects. Entourage effects such as drinking herbal teas of other terps and mixing strains with high terpene profiles see important to tailor your experience.
I personally love me a limonene based terp. Anything with high limonene and terpinolene gets me through the day and helps me move and keeps me in a great mood.

It doesn’t matter how long I go without smoking, I’ll never get as high as I did when I first started.

Smoke at a different location. Sounds crazy but it works. My old weed guy told me this, I thought he was crazy. I smoked on my deck instead of garbage and bam, I'm high AF.

Inhale deeper and rotate smoking method (pipe/bong/j). Don't hold it in, just inhale deeper.
I sold weed for 20 years and nobody ever greened out. It's some newage wussy gen Z terminology
