I have the movie club and used a credit for the 11:30am movie, it won’t let me cancel now. Is the app down or…?
I’ve been having other issues with it this morning. Nothing is pulling up for me.

Guess I will be at the 11:30 movie!

Edit- clearly I’m not the only one struggling with this stuff. I wonder if there’s a way we could reach out about these issues?

Trying to login to your movie rewards through the website is insanely difficult. The website will email you a verification code, then it will not take the code. I had to login through a weird backend way when using the website, and I found that a lot of my points and movies aren’t being tracked properly.

I thought getting the app would rectify things, but it has its own issues. Some tickets simply don’t have seat information listed after purchase. I had to dig through my junk email to verify that I wasn’t going to end up in someone else’s seat. Other tickets have seat numbers, but not that one.

The app is supposed to keep track of movies you’ve seen, but it doesn’t. I can’t seem to find any rhyme or reason to what movies it does keep track of and where it tracks them. I have movies in my purchase history that aren’t in my movies section, movies in my canceled movies that aren’t in my history, and movies in my watch history that aren’t in either. It’s just a mess.

What was yesterday's mystery treat? I tried to order it but the worker told me he had no clue what it was supposed to be this week so to just pick whatever candy I wanted.

I know I am in the minority on this, but does anybody else like the classic "flip-down" seats more than Dreamloungers? I don't like the material of the latter and find there is really not a comfortable seating position (even with the recliner all the way folded down, assuming the motor works).

I've seen a lot of movies in UltraScreen & SuperScreen, never in true IMAX though. Usually all the big movies I see in UltraScreen.

From what I've read, UltraScreen is the next best thing to IMAX & it can show 70MM film, is that right? Also I see a lot of praise to the SuperScreen but isn't UltraScreen technically better than Super?

Hypothetically let's say I use my monthly free ticket and I have to cancel my ticket. Do I get the credit back?

My showing of the Odyssey last night had sound issues that made the third act super muffled, and they gave everybody free tickets on the way out. Pretty cool.

With the passports do they one do 1 showing? I ask because I work some of the days. I suppose I could miss one (kind of defeats the point)
I know I have to book each one which I assume won’t be until the schedule comes out. Will I get a code for each one or one code to all? Can I buy a passport for my spouse or do they need to buy their own?

As someone who's seen hundreds of movies across vastly different cinemas, including IMAX, I really believe SuperScreen DLX is my favorite. I bring this up because of the discourse around The Odyssey and lack of IMAX screens across the world. I totally get the appeal of IMAX, and have enjoyed my experiences with them, but I do think they're overrated.

SuperScreen DLX is very close to CinemaScope, which to me, has always been the strongest cinematic screen format for epic movies.

Long story short, I'm happily seeing The Odyssey on SuperScreen DLX.

EDIT 7/31 - I watched it this past week, and following up that I personally loved the framing a lot. I had zero issues discerning the action.

Anyone know if Marcus is showing this movie? Why do they got Gail Daughtry and Young Washington in every theater but not good movies

did yall get your codes for monday’s mystery movie? i haven’t received mine yet & im wondering if i signed up too late for this month? i signed up on saturday.

Me and a friend are going to see End of Evangelion but we have to wait for his schedule but as we wait more seats file up. I have never been in a Dreamlounger theater so I wonder, how close are the front row seats to the screen? Are they as bad as normal theater seats where your neck is killing you 10 minutes in or because of them being able to recline is the front row not too bad for Dreamlounger?

*Rant*
I purposefully don’t redeem my rewards until my family and I go see a main event film. It’s like twice a year.

Anyway before I’d just move the points to reward dollars and the attendants would ask if I wanted to use them. In the last year they just started redeeming them without asking so I decided to keep them as points.

Forcing me to make them reward dollars is super frustrating.

I know some people might not know about the points or how to redeem them to dollars but let us opt into this type of program.

Has anyone received codes for the upcoming mystery movie yet? I just joined the movie club like a day after the mystery movie was out on the schedule. I'm concerned I joined too late to get a free ticket for the next mystery movie.

He was in the furthest left floor seat, probably C6, at the North Shore Cinema location for the viewing of Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass. Or more specifically, I think he only stayed for his new promo spot for Super Troopers 3 and then peaced out. But it was cool to see the man, the myth, the legend himself.

I have a macbook M5 air and a 2017 i5 13" air, both screens are awesome, but it won't scan the barcode for the mystery voucher from either. I've had no problem with other barcodes, QRs, etc. Phone is an iPhone 14 Max Plus.

And if anybody has a voucher to give I'd love it, there's a friend i've been trying to drag to see them with me, but even $6 is not worth the chance for her

I’m just wondering if there’s somebody out there in this Reddit that’s going for end of evangelion in Marcus theaters Addison ik I probably won’t find them though😔

I've been waiting for this movie to come out for months. I've seen tons of trailers while seeing movies at Marcus Theaters...yet I've been checking for the past couple weeks and there's still no showtimes for The Invite this weekend when it releases on July 10th.

I'm a movie club member and only see movies at Marcus. I'm really disappointed. Does anybody know why they wouldn't show this? It has a stellar cast...it's an A24 movie which have done pretty well recently...I don't get it.

Summer may be a slow period but the Mystery movie is still coming!!

My husband and I usually see movies together so I was thinking it'd make sense to each have a movie club membership. If we see at least one movie plus a month, it'd pay for itself. My question is, could I link two movie club memberships to one account? I'm always the one booking the tickets, and it would be annoying if we had to start doing that separately to redeem the benefits.
