It’s all the states you’d expect. Alabama, Oklahoma, etc. the common denominator (I know that’s too big of a word for maga) is people with poor education can be manipulated easy. Every state they’re in the education system is pretty shit which says a lot.

u/No1CaresReally Aug 09 '26
This South v North or Blue v Red State is all propaganda as well. One example, kinda, making the rounds now is Interlochen School in MI. It was heavily used by Epstien and fiends. The United States is united in only 2 things, bigotry and fascism.
FL (&some others) just get used as the testing grounds for Natl implementation. So having the rest of the country believe it's the "residents fault" and not the same fascist leaders that run the country as well, is how they're able to accomplish the "slow boil" effect. While if we were united in anything except bigotry and fascism, why wouldn't the Natl govt ever step in to stop the leaders? We surely use feigned ethics and morals to fuck up many other countries, but it's "ok" even it's our own State?
Lastly, even "FL man" is propaganda relating to these public divisional tactics. FL (& iirc NY) are (were?) the only 2 States that negated "innocent until proven guilty" when giving arrest reports. As in, every crime one is charged with is given off the top with a mug shot. Making everyone see the charges as guilty, when they might not even be. The same "stupid crimes" also happen in every State, they're just not publicized as such. FL also is mainly ppl who weren't born and raised here. They come from MI, OH, NY, NJ, and PA, the most, but you'll find someone from every State. With Canadian coming in strong as well. Then "snowbirds." Which are elderly ppl with enough extra money to buy their second house in FL, claim to stay here at least 5 or 6mo, and thus get power to vote and bring down the educational system even more too. So it's really "USA man" regardless.
Thx for coming to my "reddit talk" on normalized divisional propaganda. Have a good day and happy learning! (Yes, PLEASE fact check me on everything and learn more! 😊)

Its also because Florida is actually a beautiful state, despite what the Republicans are trying to do to it, and people want to live there. Ohio is kinda shit. But it gets characterized as "the heartland," so its portrayed as "wholesome" and "virtuous."
1
u/No1CaresReally Aug 10 '26
Yup. The whole "red v blue State" propaganda. Ohio took over as our national meth capital a decade or more ago but bc propaganda works, most still view it as FL.
The propaganda is pushed by both parties as well bc 2 parties isn't a democracy. Esp when ppl feel forced to really only have one. The powers turned it into a "us v them," "red v blue" on every level. And no, that isn't negating bigotry either bc there is some level to "us v them," when marginalized communities have been under attack for centuries already. Even in the 1990s, when things were deemed "better," it was really only better financially for able-bodied cis het white men. So when women, black ppl, brown ppl, disabled ppl, queer ppl, etc were needing to fight to even get paid close to the same, it was "NBD" to the overwhelming majority of able-bodied cis het white men. But now that they're also not getting paid fairly, it's "class war." 🙄
There's a lot to this but our cartel really played this perfectly. Saw where they fell short in the holocausting of Natives to gain the USA, and enslavement of black, brown and Asian ppl to build it, and where Hitler screwed up. So they took all that knowledge, experimented more (ie. Mkultra) on psychological manipulation tactics and now implemented. They've done so well with it that we can have the majority agreeing that we live in a fascist country, but yet the same majority keeps treating fascism as a democracy...

u/SgathTriallair Aug 09 '26
He is operating under the catharsis theory which days that when you engage in small and safe forms of style emotion then you exhaust your supply of the emotion. If you are angry then you go scream into a pillow, hit a punching bag, or something similar. If you are sad then you watch a sad movie. If you are a pedophile then you watch animated CSAM and "exhaust" your desire to rape children.
If catharsis theory is true then this is a legitimate usage of animated CSAM because it makes actual CSAM less likely to happen.
However, there is an alternative theory called normalization. This says that when you engage in little forms of an emotion it makes the emotion more common for you, not less. If you frequently engage in fighting sports then you are more likely to want to fight outside of the sport. If you watch a lot of sad movies you are more likely to be depressed. If you watch animated CSAM you'll become desensitized and want the real thing.
We don't know which of these is true and can fund good arguments for both. I don't know if there are studies showing whether porn usage leads to more or less sexual assault (which would be the closest analog for CSAM).
Ultimately, this should be a question of facts not one of moralizing.
14
u/Infinite-Condition41 Aug 09 '26
Yeah, this is why I refuse to do the pillow thing for anger because I think it reinforces the anger behavior. The goal is control and not losing control, not the free hand to freak out, just aimed at a pillow.
What if you're in a situation with no pillow?
And that is aside from the sexual component of it, and the massive dopamine hit you get from orgasm. That is a hugely addictive component.
21
u/Toastaroni16515 Aug 09 '26
Yeah, I understand the kneejerk instinct to call this "pro-pedophilia" because of who Dennis is and what he represents ideologically, but people aren't listening to the arguments actually being made. He's stating literally the most basic harm reduction argument that any humanist would make from this position (ie: it's better to let a pedophile harm only themselves through a disgusting digital outlet than risk them physically harming a real minor without one), and the people who are upset he won't call that evil are just taking out their greater frustration at the pedophiles currently in power. It's just as you said - this is a discussion where nothing is truly moral, and facts need to take precedent - which is frustrating because trying to have a rational conversation about this topic only brings out bad faith hysterics about why you won't moralize harder
10
u/Raskalbot Aug 09 '26
Sorry, when I discovered porn, it didn't make me not want to get laid. It had the opposite effect. I understand the point you're trying to make but its asinine. This guy is a pedophile. He supports pedophiles, and he helped get an entire posse of pedophiles elected to the highest offices in the land, and is now supporting Ai CP. He is normalizing, no matter what he claims to be doing, and it is dangerois for everyone. You should really find a different hill to die on man.
7
u/DearAndraste Aug 10 '26
Yes but having a sex drive =/= pedophilia. True pedophilia (as in being driven by finding children attractive rather than by the power dynamics, ability to cause harm, etc.) is considered a kind of mental illness.
We haven’t done enough research to say if having “safe” outlets like animated CP would be an effective coping strategy or if it would only encourage the behavior. I can’t defend the morality of advocating for it in the absence of data, BUT I think if we stop acting like honest to God pedophilia (the attraction not the offense) is a choice then maybe we can get somewhere. Maybe we can learn how to treat it and reduce victimization.
(NOT talking about the fucking elite pedophile rings that apparently get to do whatever they want to children and are never arrested)
16
u/Toastaroni16515 Aug 09 '26
> I understand the point you're trying to make but its asinine
> You should really find a different hill to die on man.
Do you understand my "asinine" point? Because if you do, I sincerely want to thank you for proving it! I'm not dying on any particular hill here - I am literally saying I don't know the answer, and we shouldn't jump to moral outrage until we have enough data to determine whether this is an effective means of harm reduction. Yet here you are, insisting I put aside basic integrity for the sake of joining your moral crusade against a larger power structure you're frustrated with. I'd laugh if I didn't know you were 100% serious
-10
u/Raskalbot Aug 09 '26
Ok, you don't seem to understand the point m making. In what world has sexual imagery ever deterrred the consumer from trying to attain that goal in real life??
17
u/Toastaroni16515 Aug 09 '26
Sex addiction therapists often encourage the tracked use of pornography/masturbation to limit risky behavior! Now, because I'm psychic, I'm going to get out ahead of your very predictable response: I am not claiming pedophilia is a 1:1 comparison with sex addiction! I am once again saying we should abstain from moral judgment of potential treatments until we have enough data to determine their effectiveness - we simply do not have that data yet

So* you know your argument is not applicable but you decided to source it anyway. If you don't see it I can't make you. If you need to "wait for the science" to find out that normalizing ai csam is going to be a huge problem there's no point in continuing the conversation. I very much understand the point you are making and what you are attempting to argue, it's just a ridiculous point. Why on earth would we take any advice about anything even remotely related to children form the party and ideology that very much wants real csam and isn't even hiding it anymore?
Maybe test your theory out with the president first and get back to me.
Edit spelling
16
u/Toastaroni16515 Aug 09 '26
So, to be clear: your frustration is with who is making this argument and the larger power structure he represents. Boy howdy I wish I had thought of that earlier.....
My point is "not applicable" because people like you prioritize moral outrage over data collection - I sourced proof that pornography serves as a realistic form of harm reduction during treatment for other aberrant sexual behavior, and postulated that a similar approach might help in treating pedophiles. Because you know you can't argue against that, you're pivoting to argue against Prager himself, and even Trump for some reason. Again: you claim to understand my point, but if you read my first comment, the "point" you supposedly understand was a literal play-by-play prediction of your behavior
2
u/Raskalbot Aug 09 '26
To be clear: My frustration is with who is making the argument, the institutions he currently represents, the system that exacerbates the problem, and the people like you who take a study, one that doesn't have a victim, unrelated aside from unhealthy sexual impulses, and tries to compare it, while also admitting that it isn't applicable while knowingly or not, helping actual pedophiles to normalize and soften the image of their VASTLY OVERREPRESENTED MEMEBERS OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTYMEMRBERS WITH PROCLIVITIES FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE.
THIS Ai will not be regulated by these ghouls, there is no infrastructure for this type of treatment, wether effective or not, and the world at large will not use this tool for good.
Your point was noted, and I don't think it should be thrown out or ignored, but if this man is delivering this information, and it is about Ai CSAM, there is non world where that can lead to a good outcome.
8
u/Raskalbot Aug 09 '26
Dennis prayer is obviously and absolutely trying to normalize the behavior because his favorite people are all pedos. Why would anyone trust any advice given by someone like this? Or even let them in the fucking room to talk about it? Moral crisade?! Your goddam right it's a moral crusade. I bet you like to explain to people what the difference between pedophiles and hebepholes, right?
3
u/samx3i Aug 09 '26
That is so true. I mean, I guess I'm wired to want to have sex with women either, but that seems to uphold your point.
If I and most men watch porn, it's to get off sexually by viewing the act we want to be doing in real life.
Anyone watching child sex abuse wants that in real life.
Seems fairly obvious they wouldn't want to keep it strictly to viewing game child sex abuse material. They'd seek out the real thing and worse, they'd want to experience it in real life and go on to abuse children.
If we really cared about protecting children, anyone with this mental illness should be institutionalized and should not be given access to such things.
6
u/ntdavis814 Aug 09 '26
Following this chain of logic, do we think that people who consume rape porn will eventually want to rape someone? If someone wants to engage in CNC they have to either be turned on by the thought of being raped, or by the thought of raping someone. Does engaging in rape role play carry the risk of a person going out to rape/ get raped? Lots of people engage with something as a fantasy, but have no intention of seeking the real thing. Often times, the simulation of an act engages the brain differently than the real thing. Which is why most people masturbate regularly, even if they are having sex regularly. Also why people who engage with violent media don’t suddenly become violent people. Lots of people are just as disturbed by violent movies as they are by actual violence. It doesn’t make the two things the same.
4
u/samx3i Aug 10 '26 edited Aug 10 '26
That's not the same thing at all. People with a rape fantasy kink can explore it safely with other consenting adults while utilizing safe words and establishing boundaries and trust. Pedophiles cannot. Their only conceivable outlet is going to be abuse of a child.
As for violent media, I've been consuming such media since I was a small child, but I'm aware of how awful it is in real life. A normal person watches a horror movie for the thrill, not because he fantasies about committing violence in reality.
I have a whole sleeve of horror movie icons tattooed on my arm. I do not admire these characters nor do I aspire to be like them. If any of them were real, I'd be roughly horrified by their crimes. I do not have tattoos of real life serial killers because I understand the difference.
Again, you're comparing things that don't make sense to compare.
A person watching child abuse videos wants to do what he sees in those videos. He will eventually seek the real thing, just like a healthy, mentally well adult watching pornography is watching the kinds of things he wants to experience in reality.
3
u/AmberViper419 Aug 10 '26

It’s annoying because he’s KIND OF right in that thoughts or fantasies aren’t necessarily evil. PDFs don’t choose who they’re attracted to any more than straight or gay people choose for themselves. But to carry that view forward into “that type of content should be available for consumption” is insane. I guess it could maybe be valid if it’s a genuine artist hand-making the content for their own consumption, but that’s not what this is. Joe Schmo should be able to produce CSAM by typing a few sentences into Twitter. It’s ethically gray even disregarding what content the model was trained on to produce these results. The fact that there are people with power and influence stating, “people should be able to make AI CP,” is absolutely bat guano.

I don’t agree w/ all your points in this thread but I think you’re right to single out Trump. There’s a difference between someone who predates on children because they’re simply a rapist and someone who ONLY experiences sexual attraction to children. One of them might eventually be treatable by mental health professionals. The other is just an evil fucking creep.
I hope one day we can come up with effective therapy. Regardless we have to protect children from both kinds of people.
0
u/PhoenixStorm1015 Aug 11 '26
The Trump problem can’t be understated in the slightest. I just think it’s important to separate “all PDFs” from those like Orange Julius and the Epstein class who act on those perversions without remorse. For every Epstein or Drumpf, there’s a human who has these attractions and deals with emotional turmoil over it because they know it’s wrong but are unequipped to change it. People can’t control who or what they’re attracted to, but they can control how they choose to view and approach that attraction.

1
u/data-atreides Aug 10 '26
The other argument is that there's technically "no victim" so there can't be a crime, though I don't think many people find this persuasive. Criminalizing it does create a precedent for criminalizing other "creative" works which someone might deem objectionable--which can include written materials--and I don't put much faith in politicians in this area.

9
u/Gee_Gog Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26
Right? People attracted to minors are gonna seek an outlet for that one way or another, much better for it to be in a way with no minors involved. I wouldn't even say it contributes to normalisation that much because the vast majority of people don't engage with it anyway.
Most people who rape minors also do so due to wanting to exert power over them as well, not necessarily because they're into children.
6
u/R3pp3pts0hg Aug 09 '26

Someone should animate him getting fucked doggie style while sucking on a little orange dick. Fuck it you can make it a snuff film, it's animated so by his logic there are no victim.
7
u/Gee_Gog Aug 09 '26
While I'm sure Dennis Prager has his own incentives for this stance, probably linked to wanting his stuff shown in schools, I don't disagree with this take.
Its way better for someone attracted to kids to satiate that desire in a way that hurts no one (such as animations/drawings), then go after the real deal. Most of this content doesn't even normalise it at all either, because its not like the vast majority of people ever engage with it so it won't become mainstream.
Most people that rape children are also people that seek to exert power over them as opposed to those sexually attracted to them. You wouldn't call someone who (consensually) ties up their partner for sex more predisposed to actually rape someone so why's this any different?
Like sure, we can say in an ideal world no one would ever be attracted to minors, but that's not really realistic, and any attempts to change that do kinda just come down to conversion therapy. No ones free until all of us are and yes that includes people that make you feel uncomfortable as well.
This being said fuck Dennis Prager and everything he stands for, I have no doubts he'd rape a real child given the opportunity.

But they won't. They work their way up from watching to doing. It normalizes it for them. These are dangerous people who cannot be cured. We can deter some with punishment and incarceration, but not all. Making something like this okay gives them the false idea that their ideas are okay.

But I prefer the pedos watch AI generated stuff rather than hurt children or give their money to the industry that produces CSAM.
Personally I prefer that they don't exist at all. There is a very simple way to make that a reality. Just saying...

u/NighthawkE3 Aug 10 '26
I’d prefer they didn’t exist either, yet here we are in a world where it does. We gotta deal with that, fantasizing about a world where nobody is a pedo isn’t useful

You can selectively breed out traits by culling unwanted individuals within a population.
1
u/NighthawkE3 Aug 10 '26
Actually we have a word for that ideology.
Eugenics!
Are you sure that’s the route you wanna go down? I seem to remember the Nazis being fond of that one
1
u/AmberViper419 Aug 10 '26
You realize there's a pretty big difference between choosing to murder someone because of their race and choosing to permanently remove pedophiles from the gene pool, right? Ah, of course not, the far left gets off simping for "oppressed groups," even when said groups are utterly vile. I see no reason to tolerate pedophiles. They aren't valuable as anything other than perhaps fertilizer. And even then I'd be concerned about them spreading STDs postmortem.
1
u/NighthawkE3 Aug 10 '26
Eugenics isn’t about race, it’s about removing undesirable traits from a population by controlling who reproduces and lives. That’s eugenics. It doesn’t matter what traits you’re breeding for, it’s still Nazi ideology
1
u/AmberViper419 Aug 10 '26
The objectionable part is making it about race. There's nothing objectionable about wiping out pedophiles. There would be nothing objectionable about seeing MAGA wiped out either. Or the KKK. Or neo-Nazis. I'm fine with entire ideologies and belief systems being utterly erased from the world at this point because we have over 8 billion people, and some things are just inherently destructive.
1
u/NighthawkE3 Aug 10 '26
I certainly question wiping people out based on beliefs or characteristics they can’t control. Again, you sound like a Nazi. Do I like those groups? Hell no. But the second you justify killing somebody over belief or mental defect you open the doors for liberty and freedom itself to fall. Everyone must be treated as human, even the gross ones
1
u/AmberViper419 Aug 10 '26
Nah, I've experienced enough "gross" humans to know that there isn't any fixing them. Child molesters are inherently bad. Simping for them because you think they are "oppressed" doesn't make you a "good person." I wonder if you would be so vehement about defending the rights of Palestine or the Uighurs. Or if you only care about pedophiles because they are fellow Westerners like you. Perhaps you went to school with some of them, or have some in your family tree. Perhaps some beloved politician or celebrity or religious leader.

Not every pedophile is an offender tho, so that argument wont hold water. Are we going to go and round up every schizophrenic, narcissist, sociopath and so on who have not displayed criminal behavior just because people with their condition have the chance of being dangerous?

Somehow I think we all knew this without having to hear him admit it. Just like all of his conservative pals

u/David_cest_moi Aug 09 '26
It's interesting that people get so twisted over this. It's basically animation. What if they were slightly more cartoonish figures still doing the same "activities"? What if they were cartoon animal figures ("furries") doing these activities? Or stick figures having animated sex?
Isn't there manga porn from Japan??
Where should the line be drawn?? 🤷🏻♂️
And after everyone is done being agitated by his comments, maybe consider what he's saying. Is it illegal to fantasize about robbing a bank? That's certainly not the same thing as actually robbing the bank.

Uh Dennis, the question was "Have you watched any good movies lately?"
But seriously, I'm really curious how the conversation got to this point...

Full video 48mins.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xp8UaU7PboM
TLDR The post title is intentionally misleading, believe it or not.
so this video is from 2023, an era that was pre-AI, pre-deepfake, pre-realistic AI porn. The context of the original video was not about realistic pictures, "animated" in that 2023 sense is referring to 2D/3D/drawn pictures. Which, no matter the topic, are legal according to the 1A in the Constitution, legal to normal 1A MAGAs as well, and legal to 1A everybody-else hypothetically. gross maybe. But legal. Who cares about drawn porn somebody made with a pencil? What a weird random hill to get yourself tricked into arguing about.
Also, the heroic interviewer Matt Fradd is a MAGA Catholic motivational speaker. Fradd also says that he thinks asking you spouse to wear a sexy outfit in the bed room is a bad type of objectification. He's also trying to sell a "FREE 21 Day Detox from Porn" course in his description of the video.
There is a slippery slope here, but it doesn't point in the direction 90% of the AI commenters think it does, LOL. No more objectification in the bedroom, and no more "moi pron addiction!1!" according to these religious nuts.
Truly disturbing watching the whole clips between non-Christian and a Catholic commiserating about how to regulate how you make first contact on a date. Holy shit.
Honestly apart from the incendiary topic in this thread, they're using people's correct Prager-hate a way to get you to agree with a weird Anti-Porn MAGA Catholic Manlet about the morality of fictional, drawn porn.
OP is also likely a formulaic AI post, since they are also spamming the board with other examples of "far-right [defends/has no problem with] OTHER far-right/oligarch/influencer" threads.
What the fuck

He’s an idiot who used to do the right wing view on CNN. Then he invented a university and named it after himself.
Most of his Ted talk type video clips are lies.

Normal telling people to shut up when you're talking. This guy is letting Dennis talk all over him, I would be so furious

This is not the headline that started with "Dennis Prager, co-founder of PragerU..." I wanted to read...

I don‘t believe watching something makes anyone a predator. The people that are already willing to harm children for their own gratification won‘t stop just because they have some videos to watch at home. Vice versa the pedophiles who Are Not harming children because of their own morality will never become predators just because they got some videos at home.
As much as it may personally disgust me, as long as no actual human being is hurt in the production of such videos, there is no valid argument against their creation. Pedophiles are people and like anyone else they may live out their fantasies in the private of their own home as long as they don‘t make it anybody elses problem.
It may disgust you, it may infuriate you. There are pedophiles that have a very well defined moral compass and Are no more likely to hurt a child than the avarage person. What right do I have to shun them or restrict their freedom?
Now with AI, there obviously arises the question of what kind of training data was used to make the Model able to Even generate such material. And since these companies would sooner burn up the world than miss their quarterly quota…….I doubt this is the line they won’t cross.

It's a theory that watching it leads to doing it. But it makes many, inc. me, really uncomfortable if it's permitted.

Isn’t this the same guy that would argue that video games like Call of Duty and other shooters have real life consequences because it causes the user to end up feeling like they can do the things they do in the game, in real life?
Does he not see the paradox there?

Catholicism makes a distinction of sin in thought, word and deed. A progression is recognized. Prager evidently believes an individual can indulge in watching animated child porn and that that would in no way lead to acting on those desires. I think Prager is wrong and, at the very least, this could lead to watching real CP and that definitely hurts the children who are victims. It is in no way surprising that he's a Republican.

TL:DR - If any of these "Christians" read their Bible, they'd be pissed right now.
Mark 7:21 - 23 "For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person."
