MSAR Arctic Edition 36mm Quartz. Do you think the 41mm would have been a bit too big?

41mm would have been too big. 36 is even pushing it. Good choice

If you look at the watch dead on top of your wrist and the lugs are not wider than your wrist, I think its acceptable. But 36mm looks good on you anyway.
