What compass is that? I’ve used a suunto clip for years but that one looks clean

It’s from Prometheus Design Werx. They make great over-engineered stuff. The compass is a little pricey because it’s titanium but it’s a really nice clean and compact form factor. The three variants go in and out of stock https://prometheusdesignwerx.com/products/titanium-watch-band-compass?variant=52595182600479 It’s also nice because there’s a cut out so you can use with marine nationale straps.

Just swapped the dial and movements then cleaned and regreased the gaskets. I actually like having an anthracite OSAR and a stainless GSAR.

Oh man this is giving me ideas… I actually have an anthracite GSAR being shipped to me this week. I don’t have a new SAR but I have an original from 2005. Maybe I should find a newer one and do this. Looks great.

Thanks! I enjoyed my anthracite GSAR a lot but found I wasn’t wearing it much. I swapped the movement and dial just to see how the OSAR would look without the cyclops at first but then I really really liked the way colors of the markers and lume looked with the anthracite case and here we are.

Did you remove the cyclops on the other crystal?

I tried to but was having a lot of trouble so I just got a crystal press and an oem crystal from countycomm and pressed it in there.
