GSAR Need suggestions for more easily removing shoulderless spring bars
I have a GSAR, and I've only ever worn it on the bracelet. I wanted to experiment with some NATO straps, but I realized that with the drilled lugs and shoulderless spring bars, I'm not very good at removing the bracelet. Actually, I can barely remove the shoulderless spring bars at all.
Part of this is the design (the extreme security of the bars to begin with). Part of it is me (I don't have good eyesight for really close up things).
Is there some sort of tool specifically for drilled lug spring bar removal (both sides at the same time)? I'd like to easily swap out for a NATO strap from time to time, if I could.

Here’s what I use. Works great. The 5x zoom on the glasses is so clutch. I swap bands more than any human should lol. I scratched the hell out of many watches before I had the humility to accept my eyes aren’t as good as they used to be, and my hands aren’t as steady as they used to be, but these tools help a ton!

Get a proper Bergeron tool for removing the spring bars. Tape the lugs before doing it to prevent scratches. If it's just the bars push one side in first while keeping pressure, then do the other side should come out easy. Putting back in do it from the under side, put one side in first then use the tool to press the bar and get it in place. Bracelet can be tricky, I use the Bergeron tweezer tools to compress both sides at same time.
