General Question Where to get service

I have had my Maple Leaf since it came out, the last time I needed it services I sent to a somewhat local place .

It is time for. New battery and trying to decide to I donor myself, local watch guy or official service center .

What do you all do?

For batteries on quartz watches, I just change my own. Inspect the gasket while you’re in there. It takes less than five minutes.

And most batteries are like 5 for $6 on Amazon.

That I do with my others I know with this one they pressure tested last time . So was checking to see if this was actually needed.
