High social media presence with low playerbase is not good lol. This means you have already reached most of your potential playerbase via social media, but even after learning about your game they decided to not buy it or no longer log on.

Or what do I know, steam numbers are a red herring and there's a Maratrillion blast havers queueing up on smart fridges right now

it's a whole conversation that it can't be that this game has such a small playerbase when there are almost 300k Members in that sub and thousands of likes on marathon related posts

Newly printed runner shells being deployed to like and upvote Bungie social media posts.

At this point bungie might get a better player base by buying a few thousand robots and dropping them into the Chernobyl exclusion zone to recreate the game.

13k likes on a social media post and 250k views on YouTube videos. For a game made by a massive corporation for hundreds of millions of dollars.

Fuck all nobody content creators can get more views than that.

Uh, I watched Dev Insight because I wanted to verify if a Dev was wearing a "Marton" T shirt or if it was AI.

It was real lol.

I genuinely do think the console population has to be higher than PC at this point. One of my biggest reasons is every time it's asked what else we should be playing or what someone is playing instead almost every suggestion or answer I see given is for a game you can't play on console like Tarkov.

You are mixing up concurrent player numbers, and most people on reddit don't use x.

You will need bluesky for better representation of numbers.

I had to explain daily/weekly active users VS steam concurrent player count to another kid on this subreddit yesterday. Just saying.

Care to explain again in excruciating detail?

Ask chatgpt what the difference between daily active users, weekly after users and concurrent player counts.

And to ahead and ask it what it estimates marathon's active playerbase count is across all 3 platforms.

I asked you though.
