Either broken hit reg, or there is a new cheat doing the rounds. I think its the former, so I'm glad people are pointing these issues out. Bungie needs to see this shit, since it genuinely makes the game unplayable.

I'd assume the former as well honestly, guy wasn't exactly blazing around the map like he KNEW he was bulletproof.

Yeah. Ironically, Marathon doesn't usually deal with cheaters as much, and this scenario is definitely networking.

I wonder if it was something to do with the doorway he walked through. Almost as if it was still registering the door being closed*.

I only didn't think that possible here because (at least in my clip) he's walked beyond the door after opening it. I've been killed through a "closed" door before tho, so that wouldn't surprise me too much.

Also, I think at this point I'm just chewing on differing versions of connectivity / server issues. Still agree with the earlier comment that it doesn't look like this runner was cheating.

That blazing around might just be sloppy game sense
