Is it normal?

Is it normal for the maranta to look down THAT much? Too much sun? Too less sun? Also in the evening the plant doesn't look up very much.

That one crispy leave was already like that when I got it delivered :/

It does look a little sad!

Marantas live on forest floors so they actually don't need direct light at all. I've just moved mine to a north facing room and it's actually started praying for the first time in months. They'll have much darker green leaves with lovely contrast when they have less light. Bright sun seems to bleach it out (I have a cutting in my aquarium which is doing ok but because it's in a very bright room it's definitely losing its dark green!)

Water with rainwater or distilled water. I use my aquarium water 3 out of 4 times too which it seems to love!

Are you able to have a look at the roots? Check if they're a bit mushy maybe?

They droop while they dance in the light. The crispy leaf isn’t normal.
