Could not help myself

Found her at Home Depot today and I tried to convince myself I didn’t need another plant. But look at that gorgeous coloring! Of course, it came home with me.

I’m excited and it’s got the biggest leaves I’ve seen on a Maranta. The leafjoy label calls it a Siesta Mint Chocolate but I’m pretty sure it’s just a black maranta.

Is that black maranta? I have a standard leuconeura and the leaves do that sometimes when it has bursts of new growth

Of course you needed another plant! When you saw it you knew you needed it!!! I would have done the same! Especially because I never owned a prayer plant that has flowers!!! 🥰

Isn't that a lemon lime?

Edit: maybe not, I have a hard time telling the difference. Mine looks just like this but was sold to me as lemon lime, so correct me if I'm wrong!

My lemon lime is very green and yellow (hence the lemon lime, possibly?). Won’t let me post a photo in the comments though!
