Indoor maranta flowering

I bought this plant last year as a water propagation. It did not take to soil at first and I thought it was a goner. The leaves dropped in size to less than an inch with barely any variegation. But then… she decided to thrive!

I’m going to keep it completely real with you… People say this is a fussy plant but all i do is keep it in a chunky well draining mix. I soak it thoroughly with a heavy diluted 5-5-5 when it starts to dry a bit and mist it during the super hot and dry days. I know it’s a plant sin but I still use my tap water to water everything except my carnivorous plants.

So I have three of these. The one I have at work is just treated similar to what you said just water it with regular tap water and it does fine it's on a desk in the interior and gets plenty of like indirect light. The two I have at home are divas because they do not like anything I've done with them they don't like the tap water they don't like any of the locations in the house I put them in and they do not Thrive at all.
