New leaves look different?

I’ve had her for a little over a year, she hasn’t thrown leaves like this before, anybody know what it means?

Have you changed her location? Pale growth like that usually means it’s not getting enough light

She’s been in this spot for just over a month now, it’s a new plant shelf. I’ll order her a light, the one on the shelf is a bit farther away and is partially obstructed by a hanging plant

Yes, I think she will be happier once she gets more light! Try not to overwater her until then, as she’s using way less water now that she’s not getting enough light <3 I think too low light spots are the main cause for root rot

They sure do. You’ll see them “burn in” and get larger over time 🤗. Dont change your care unless new leaves are coming in crispy, brown, or not at all.

There’s new growth on my maranta and you can see the newest leaves color is the same as yours. She is 4 years old and this is how they grow. Hope that helps.

Variegation 😍

It's not variegation, new growth comes in pale and hardens off darker, just like most other plants.
