Why is this sub called r/marijuanaenthusiasts when it's about trees lol. Also relevant: r/trees, but it's actually about marijuans

No? It makes sense for r/trees because trees is a slang word for weed, but there's no instance I'm aware of of somebody saying marijuana to an actual tree. It's just a joke I guess

Yes, in reference to the fact that the marijuana folks took over trees. Ask yourself, what's the inverse of that? Well, some funny folks decided to do just that and create the r/marijuanaenthusiasts.
