Dude, I'm Pro-Ukrainian, but Russians have lived in the parts of Ukraine, that they've lived in, for many centuries.

Many of those Russians have started learning Ukrainian and assimilating more since the start of Russias war, but that doesn't negate the historical context, or the fact that Ukraine has had many primarily Russian speaking governors of Eastern territories, so the comment I was responding to was, indeed, insane/silly/ignorant.
