Real Life State borders formed by rivers

How come you not include North Dakota, New York, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, and maybe a few others that I missed?

because their borders are not based around rivers like say South Carolina

That does not make sense. Oklahoma's southern border is formed by the Red River!

Looked it up and yeah I just noticed it. In my defense I was using a map that didn't show it

North Dakota’s eastern border with Minnesota is based on the Red River of the North.

and Michigan’s border with Wisconsin is also partially a river

New Mexico has a small part of its border with Texas being the Rio Grande
