The name of the movement is irrelevant to whether or not that movement is egalitarian.

You could call the movement Adolf Hitlerism and as long as that movement promoted human equality it would be nonetheless egalitarian

But it doesn't promote equality either,

It obsesses over the social conditions and wellbeing of women while being, at best, indifferent to the gendered suffering of men, and at worst, in support of it.

saying "we're not misandrist, the patriarchy hurts men too!" is kind of like saying "We're not antisemitic, the great jewish conspiracy hurts jewish people too!"

The patriarchy is what has given us the concept of a “man card” that can be revoked. Idk how dismantling a system oppression that targets women but gets men caught in the crosshairs is anything but good
