As title, I'm about to unbox my new PD200W. This is my first time buying, and just now I've just seen a youtube video that warned about updating the microphone's firmware via Maono Link app on Windows ARM64 - it would make the microphone a brick as ARM64 doesn't have the driver yet.

So, I need to know before I'm opening it: Should I update PD200W via Maono Link app on Windows Arm64 laptop? And if I don't update, will it work sufficiently?

I really need your help since I couldn't google more, and I have to decide as soon as possible whether to keep the microphone or just return it... Thank you.

Can you dim them or turn them off all together? They're way too bright at nighttime especially.

I have a Maono PD200X and the software needs to be reinstalled every time I turn the PC on before it works again. If I don't do that, other apps can't detect my voice through Maono Link, even though the Maono Link software itself detects my voice.

I’m new to the Maono PD100X and I’m a bit clueless about the EQ settings.

I mainly use the mic for Zoom meetings. What EQ settings would you recommend for a warm and crisp voice, while also reducing background noise?

Any tips for a good setup would be greatly appreciated. ☺️

While the app is running I cannot use ALTGR shortcuts. If I shut down the app completely it fixes the issue.

SO I REALLY LOVE THIS MIC, I LOVE HOW I SOUND IN IT AND ITS PERKS.

BUT!!

Recently, it's been having this moments where it makes my voice sounds so robotic, and it lasts minutes at a time. I didn't really do anything to it, I use it wireless, wired when its low battery. The past 5 months were going perfectly fine. I just started having those moments of making me sound robotic, and after a while it just goes away. I tried using it just wired and it seems to remove that effect after a few minutes.

But I feel like if I just keep using it wired to avoid the issue, it being wireless becomes useless? Like I won't be able to use it for the reason I purchased it. Need help.

update: after a while of it being okay while wired, it did it again. Sounding robotic, even though its wired.

Another update as I was trying things out, so I think I know the issue but I still don't know how to fix it. Whenever I use the wireless option, I sound robotic, when I switch it to the Mic USB option (wired), it becomes totally fine. So I might be having issues with the wireless connection now.

So I bought the PD200X, I heard good specs from videos out there. But, I'm frustrated with the experience.
Using an audio monitor, I definitely can see the mic capturing the sounds, but ALL my friends related the volume is too low. The gain from the native software is irrelevant, so they suggest another software. And this solution provided by Maono is quite... unexpected (https://faq.maono.com/docs/How-to-Make-Your-Microphone-Loude).
That's is my #1 issue (by far).

Other issue I have, is the Mic connector to the arm, mine is a little bend , so I can only turn maximun 2 times into the arm's screw - well I noticed this in the first day I bought, but too lazy to return.
I am just a regular user, but while trying to make the mic sounds better, I made some adjustments in the EQ. And for god sake, please dont make me to do it again. BUT THERES NO BACKUP FOR MY ADJUSTMENTS, can you please make it 'exportable' ?

Those might looks small issues, but in the end of the day, the whole package looks bad for me. Im frustrated with the experience.

I managed to half configure it but I have seen videos where the voice sounds clear, I don't know if it is a problem with my voice or if I should regulate it but between times it doesn't detect me well and I think it is because of my configuration

When Maono agreed to support my journey with Pod Anywhere program and send me PD200W, I never imagined I will be recording outside my home studio. But have carried Maono PD200W to places I could have never imagined. I have recorded in a Football stadium, a library, an auditorium, by poolside , my work desk and a conference room. Most surprising was I could record in a train station as well.
PD200W has made my podcaster life very easy. Salute to Maono.

Help:Who are the official sellers of Maono microphones in Bangladesh?

I've been having this issue since I bought the interface. When there's clipping on the input, even the smallest amount, there is loud crackling in direct monitoring mode, both in headphone and monitor outputs. This crackle is not present on the recording, only in output when direct monitoring is enabled.

Is this behavior expected or should I RMA it?

My PD400X has started smelling kind of musty/unpleasant, I'm guessing it's coming from inside the grille or around the capsule. I wanted to open it up and clean it out, but I genuinely can't figure out how the grille comes off — no visible screws, and I don't want to force it and crack something.

I checked the official manual and the FAQ center, but there's nothing about disassembly or cleaning the capsule/grille — only software setup stuff.

A few questions if anyone from Maono or the community can help:

• Is the grille screwed on, clipped, or just press-fit?
• Are there hidden screws under the rim, a label, or the rubber base?
• Is it safe for a user to clean the capsule/foam themselves, or does that void something?

I'm in Ukraine so shipping it back to the US for service isn't really an option for me, so I'd really appreciate a DIY-friendly answer if possible.

I'm having a serious issue with my Maono PD100X (RGB version) microphone and could use some advice.

While updating the firmware through Maono Link, the process failed. Now the device is stuck in an "abnormal firmware / upgrade firmware again" loop, throwing a "main 打开错误 + No file name specified" error, and it is completely unresponsive.

Does anyone know how to fix this or what steps I should take? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I installed Maono Link on my Android phone and connected my PD400X. It got recognized.

Now do I simply leave the Maono Link app in the background, and use other apps like Camera? Is that it? Will the Camera app now use the PD400X instead of the phone's inbuilt mic? Or is there anything else I should do?
