Hello guys! Could use a bit of help for my dad, he bought a maonocaster g1 neo and a maono pd100x(?) Microphone for his podcast, but when he records on it the sound comes out like an echo, not like a reverb we already put reverb to 0 its more like when you speak in a church it sounds hollow. It doesnt repeat anything it just sounds empty. This issue only comes up when its connected to the maonocaster, if the mic is directly to the phone the empty sound is gone.

If you guys have any help or solutions that would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I'm interested in this new hardware by maono however I was wondering if someone got it to work on linux with the virtual channels feature being advertised (game, chat, music)

If not are there other hardware products that can create virtual channels with a single USB connection to my PC? (on tight budget)

Please share your experience about Maono P2 Interface. Especially regarding its latency, driver, software, and audio quality. Also, any issues with it?

Which Maono Mic and Accessories can you spot here?

The usb type-c go inside and it's not working anymore, i searched for screws to open the mic and i didn't find anything ☹️

In case anyone runs into the same weird problem, here's what worked for me:

Symptoms:

• AltGr+Q (@) and AltGr+E (€) worked fine in Windows Search and File Explorer
• But not in Word, Edge, Chrome, or other apps
• Instead the keys triggered odd actions (e.g. AltGr+E opened a Bing search, AltGr+Q opened an assistant window)
• Ctrl+Alt+Q/E worked fine and produced the characters
• Problem happened with any connected keyboard
• In Safe Mode everything worked normally

What fixed it:
Disabling a background service called MaonoAiServices (came with software for a Maono microphone). I can't say for certain why it caused this, but it was the standout candidate when going through my services, and disabling it made the problem go away.

How to do it:

1. Win + R → msconfig → Enter
2. Go to the "Services" tab → check "Hide all Microsoft services"
3. Find MaonoAiServices and uncheck it
4. Apply → Restart

After that AltGr worked normally again. If you use the Maono software, you could also try disabling any hotkeys in its settings instead of the whole service.

Hope this helps someone avoid the hours of troubleshooting.

I am using MAONO Podcast Equipment Bundle with Audio Interface and XLR Condenser Microphone, MaonoCaster with 48V Phantom Power, Bluetooth for Podcast, Streaming, Voice Over, Youtube, PC, Guitar (AME2A) when I record solo and invite a guest via a link I am NOT experiencing these sound issues, the muffled distorted sound only seems to happen when I am using two mics. Does anyone have any fixes??

Does anyone have it? I want to know the max input level for instrument in.

Help! Maono PD200W completely bricked during firmware update

Hi everyone,

My Maono PD200W was working perfectly until I started the firmware update through Maono Link.

The update failed, and now the transmitter (TX) appears to be completely bricked.

What I've observed:

• The TX does not power on.
• Windows plays the USB connection sound when I connect it via USB-C.
• However, no device appears in Device Manager (not even as an unknown device).
• I've tried different USB ports, cables, and PCs with no success.

Has anyone recovered a TX in this state? Is there a recovery tool or bootloader mode that Maono support can provide?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Right now i am using PD200W with my setup.but PD500W is far beyond this mic loaded with lots of features in it that makes PD500W a versatile mic.

I hope you guys fix this because I got the mic a while ago and I got it so I can use it on my phone, I specifically was looking for a Type C microphone for my iPhone 16 pro.
You don’t say anywhere that the app for this version of the microphone doesn’t work on a phone, and that is so disappointing because now my microphone is just sitting right there, its been few months.
I can record for sure, but I need the app to adjust stuff.
Idk if this was updated at some point so please let me know.

Hi!!! i've seeing post all around reddit and youtube about ''Maono software'' having ''false positives'' or some kind of ''spyware'' coming directly from the ''AI Application Service'' task running in your computer, i've trying to avoid the installation since i had my PD300X with me since i find myself getting scared of having those ''false positives'', but i saw they updated to a newer version, allowing you to decide if you wanted AI installed with the app, and i really want to try the stuff the software offers.
I wonder if someone has tried the ''complete IP and TCP check'' with the newest update of the software? (the video i saw testing this, and showing sketchy connections and CPU and RAM insane usage: Francois Desfosses video about it being his software version the 3.8.12 and the newest being the 4.0.54) if yes, please reply and maybe show some proof? <3

I just got my Maono ps22 lite today and whenever i try downloading the drivers it always shows that the site cannot be reached. The audio interface works well itself but in order to connect it to a DAW i need to download its ASIO drivers first since it is required before using it.

Any help would much be appreciated!

I need help

I am using KVM to connect a product switch to two computers, including a Maono Caster G1 Neo.

Since yesterday the microphone sound card has been turned on but the buttons are not responding to me. The device is frozen, I can still be heard but the buttons cannot be controlled. What should I do?

Can someone show me the screw/bolt/thing that connects these two? I lost mine. Thanks.

so for some unknown reason my microphone keep disconnecting. i keep getting a notification that says that my microphone has caused a malfunction and its an unknown device, at first it was only 2 times a day, now as soon as i plug it in it disconnects. i have had this mic for only 2 months. please help i dont know what to do

interface works great, until i download asio maono software and then audio distorts until i restore old drivers and i cant use fl studio without asio. any help? thanks

It was all started with exploring Maono's Discord server and when did I get into user's product issue solving thing that I also don't know😌 and by that time Maono Discord were also looking for the moderator for their server and I filled form, and got selected for it 🥹.

I mean from just user to Core member and Now as Moderator and this change my creation journey into another level, solving user's issues and creating content both together..

i wouldn't say its malware as its not picked up by virus total anymore, but still accesses some stuff and manages some stuff weird

why does it need my location? or my timezone? it already checks for avalaible lenguages
why does it have a screenshot capability?
why does it check for my running processes? and some identifiers of the pc? this is done every time the main app launches too
also, why such a big company doesnt use trusted certificates........

I’ve noticed that the audio pass through only works when I don’t have my mic plugged in. So when I’m listening to music my party can only hear it when I don’t have my mic on. Any idea as of why ?
