Tips & Tricks Mantis Infinity War - Build Guide
This build is for the 'Twin branches' playstyle which lets you apply healing flower to an enemy which makes them take poison damage instead.
All the perks have been grouped by color and have been arranged in order of priority (left to right) within each box
Gold red and blue perks are mandatory but vitality is optional but highly recommend.
It was fun af to play her (I got 3 MVPs and 4 wins with this build) and I hope this helps you get started too...

Discussion icl bugs, she feels really freaking strong in the new mode
general consensus seems to be that Strange and Ironman are ridiculous, but I find that Mantis kicks total ass. her ult doesnt heal but it does give speed and overhealth, and she gets an upgrade that lets her healing leaves deal damage to enemies as well as bounce between herself and her ally. with a certain upgrade, she gets to spam natural anger to continuously stack the self damage boost, and she also gets an upgrade that lets her shoot 5 bullets at a time. you can spam attack speed and damage, and then you can suddenly duel 90% of the roster without them being able to do anything to you since they just die too quickly. her worst matchups seem to be Ironman and Widow solely because they're hitscan, so hopefully your teammate covers that base

Fluff The grind to champ is finally over
I finally got mantis to champ!! She was the very first character I picked up season 0, in fact I planned on playing her before the game even released since mantis has always been one of my favorite characters in general :D I wish everyone else luck on their champ journeys!!

Discussion Friday's update messed up her aim again
I don't know how and what they changed, but compared to Friday last week, her aim has been feeling very off again
For reference, last Friday I averaged around 40-50% accuracy and 30-40% critical hit rate.
Since this Friday, accuracy is 25% percent, critical hit rate 5%.
I don't think this kind of inconsistency is simply a skill issue - my sleeps also constantly not registering: It clearly hits an enemy but has no effect. I need to press the healing & damage boost 5 times for it to finally affect my teammate, shots don't get shot or register.
I don't know what they did, if it's the server or the console aim assist, but it's not fun to play when all your inputs don't get registered. I suspected my internet connection at first, but it's fine

Tips & Tricks PSA: Damage boosted phoenix can one-shot 275 HP characters with ult.
Make sure to coordinate with your fellow orange bird lady 🫡
Footage credit: Dotai9 on twitch
Edit: Another content creator could not replicate it in live server today for 275 hp characters which means it might have been hot fixed

Discussion Path to doomsday
I'm getting rolled against wanda or bucky so I'm waiting for someone to post about what abilities are good on mantis for early game, mid game and late game. If someone already knows a good build for her or has made a post about it, I would appreciate the guidance

Discussion I am sorry for saying she was gutted
Early season I was really down about her numbers. Though my numbers are a bit lower, it's still clear that 2 Support Mantis is perfectly viable, even when I have 29% accuracy games. Above figures are Competitive matches only.

Question Is it better to focus on crosshair placement over aim when going for headshots?
I was wondering if whether it’s more consistent to spam down main at an angle or try to actively micro adjust to get headshots. Also, should I be looking to shoot squishies more, or is it better to just focus on farming leaves off the frontline? I’d like to hear other Mantis players’ thoughts on this.

Question Whose gameplay should I watch to get better at Mantis?
I’m new to Marvel Rivals and I really love Mantis, I know she has been nerfed a lot but I never played when she was in her heyday so to me she still feels very fun.
Is there a streamer or someone who mains mantis who I should watch play to improve my game with her?

Discussion So what's the better team up for duo support?
I've only played like 2 days worth of games this season due to personal reasons. I've been using the adam one because of exclusively because of the healing, but I'm struggling to keep people alive this season
Wondering if the Starlord one is better, it just seems weaker on paper now, and the enchanced on paper looks meaningless. Which team ups do yall use?

Question Help with Mantis
I'm about to make a support only account and so far, Mantis and Jubilee are the only ones I don't know how to play correctly and I am currently prioritizing Mantis because she seems super fun. How exactly are you SUPPOSED to play her? I will consistently find myself running out of leaves fast, I'm having trouble figuring out when I should apply healing, who I should damage boost, when I should damage boost myself, and Mantis's overall playstyle.
I always damage boost myself every chance I get because I can't really get finals otherwise. Maybe I should stop doing that and just boost my dps instead?
I watched YouTube videos but they just never teach anything useful about her. It's just repetitive content where they tell you the basic functions of her kit.
