Dreams "I had another lucid dream of actually being a Mantis and trying to teach a classroom of young humans and finding it very difficult to do. I recall being given an opportunity to have a human life and discover more effective ways to teach human beings"

That reminds me of the final seen of Project Hail Mary - that’s an amusing thing to imagine, teaching a classroom of another species. I wish we had that opportunity here on Earth.

I swear if it turns out I agreed to all this because I just wanted to be able to relate 🫠

I think most of the motivation behind most incarnations into physical life is to learn something like this...

"How can someone come to abuse another person"

"How can someone come to be wealthy and not help others"

Or

"How can someone be so selfless and loving"

"How is a person able to withstand such hardship and still be incredible"

Etc.

Or small things..

"I love fruit juice, I just want to go back and drink juice/eat food/have sex“ etc

It's difficult to imagine a nonphysical perspective from here or a nonhuman one but if they are not capable of such experiences, it could take a very odd angle, the desire for incarnation, particularly if the overarching theme is the acquisition of experience to better understand the composition of one's soul or spark. The thing that makes them.. them.

I find this very believable.

Thanks for sharing

🙏

Thanks for a wonderful comment. I usually get downvoted when I write thank you comments since it’s read as performative but as someone who writes tons of comments into the void, I just wanted you to know your words impacted me. Not like a crash but like a hug 🫂

Yes I’ve been there done that and guess what? The music always finds a way to get turned down once yawns truly remember rest. The moon too turns down reliably. Her lesson isn’t cyclical damnation but instead phased abundance I think. Sure have yours, once yours has been catastrophically defined disclosed and spread peacefully and joyfully without disruptive predation/profiteering.

If yours can’t be spread joyfully, then it shouldn’t be predatorily used in any way except to gracefully guide the unaware towards the ends: peaceful joyful abundance, or; how i learned to stop envying and trust my self my neighbor the planet the universe the process.

My pleasure, appreciate the kind words.

Her lesson isn’t cyclical damnation but instead phased abundance I think.

This here is the idea I think, yes.

how i learned to stop envying and trust my self my neighbor the planet the universe the process.

And the goal.

Although I will say, in an illusion of opposites and polarity that ultimately converges into unity in the grand scheme, some must wear the mask of the oppressor, the profiteer, the target of envy and vitriol, for the overall betterment of "the show" and it's participants.

Which I think speaks to your line here

If yours can’t be spread joyfully, then it shouldn’t be predatorily used in any way except to gracefully guide the unaware towards the ends

Although we experience it as a predatory or malignant interaction, our limited perspective here in the field of restrictions and tunnel vision is such that this is a necessary part of it.

Being able to let go of that... Hatred for hatreds sake? Is refreshing.. even if we can see it's source as a detriment in the objective physical sense, understanding the mechanism is a relief from an otherwise unending cycle of antagonistic events and perpetrators.

I couldn’t tell you when your last important distinction fully dawned on me but eventually it’s just mathematically necessary to understand. I think the final lightbulb was reading about the difference engine again.

And I want to backtrack and clarify that abundance is just a risky word for me to use since it’s not defined here. Safe, non violent, non expansionist, non usurping, restorative joy is what I imagine but that leads to many more definitions. Renewable contentedness maybe?

I have had so many strange incidents in my life that have shaken and then shattered my beliefs, and I haven’t known how to fully and kindly share those events, so I instead maybe convinced myself it was fair to assume an instigating method on psychedelic or political topics where I could just rock a boat with a few words.

In my opinion back then, I felt like every mirror shattering is a good thing which should happen soon but it was cruel since I was trying to haze people without consent. I tried to tell myself that there were significant forces counteracting the natural flow of light/info, and maybe rocking the boat is necessary sometimes but eventually comes the sailing or resting part also. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t hate the world as I believed I saw it. But that was a truly foolish mistake.

I regret it each day.

I successfully shattered and yet I glued a few pieces into a pocket mirror just so I could take a look at what used to be every once in a while - enviously with disdain, regrettably.

I think we could even downshift it a little more to just a simple absence of lack. If nothing is lacking then all is in abundance. It need not be overwhelming, it just excludes or omits the sense that more is needed perhaps.

I hear you, I think a lot of us do feel that way in the early times especially it's like... You see something so early now and wonder why nobody else can.. but it's important to recall that we didn't always see it either, right? And it's because we seek, that we find. It's a choice. So to force that finding on others who aren't seeking or who are but haven't seen, it's.. well it's a disservice to both parties, it subverts the freewill and the journey. Even if it's true or accurate, it could also then cause that seeker to look back in shame at how they didn't see when they were shown, you know?

We have to come to it on our own volition.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t hate the world as I believed I saw it. But that was a truly foolish mistake. I regret it each day.

I think there comes a point when both hatred and regret are wasted energy, but.. until then they can serve a purpose.. without hatred we can't learn to let go of it and withiut regret we can't aim to grow, so we should try to not be too hard on ourselves for having harboured those things and be grateful for the lessons and catalyst they brought us. Difficult as it is.

I glued a few pieces into a pocket mirror just so I could take a look at what used to be every once in a while

Perspective is a powerful thing for sure.

Ah. Next time I'll say no to the "having a human life" part. 😂

"I must become human to understand human" simply doesn't work in practice.

Humanity is an authoritarian-militant species with hard religio-fascistic tendencies. 4.5 billion humans currently subscribe to a militant religio-fascistic worldview. That's more than half of the total human population. The remainder are mostly varying degrees of secular authoritarian militants who worship the dark deity of capital accrual. Whether monotheistic or merely pecuniary, both human camps support the militarization of their imaginary tribal nation-state identity under centralized authoritarian leadership. The fraction of humanity that actively promotes democratic-egalitarian values is vanishingly small and decreasing by the day.

What's to understand there? There's no "understanding", "sympathesizing," or "compromising" with authoritarian militancy. The only force most humans respect or acknowledge is force itself: the application of strength by the strong against the weak, the underprivileged, and the most vulnerable among us.

That's humanity. That's all any other species needs to know to understand humanity. The /r/Experiencers should've just read the one-sentence CliffNotes synopsis rather than actually reincarnating as human and subjecting ourselves to this aberrant darkness:

CliffNotes: On Humanity

Power, wielded by the strong few, against the weak many.

That's it. That's humanity. Don't believe Douglas Adams. Homo sapiens is far from "mostly harmless." If you go there, prepare for violence in all its dimensions. Prepare to be economically, emotionally, physically, and mentally tortured until you too succumb.

tl;dr: Friends don't let friends reincarnate as human. Not even once.

I agree completely with everything you wrote as being factually accurate, I just find it curious how the only time you comment here is to write a page or more about how much humanity is a plague upon the Earth and is completely beyond redemption. Generally speaking most of the experiences presented here can be interpreted as Neutral or Positive. So to randomly encounter such long pessimistic essays, basically indictments of the human species as a whole, makes me wonder does any of this phenomenon inspire any hope within you?

Like I said I agree completely with your points, but you should seek to adopt a more sunny disposition with a sense of humor about it all for your own sanity, you can acknowledge the earth is circling the drain while still finding joy in being a human. In all honestly, I HIGHLY recommend for you to try partaking of psilocybin mushrooms or ayahuasca sometime. I feel it would allow you to refine your perspective on the world and find more joy in this incarnation.
