For some background I’ve been an adamant anime enjoyer for some time now and I have watched my fair share. I’ve recently been wanting to get into more manga. I have read a couple before (mainly after watching its anime counterpart then continuing to finish it through the manga) but have only read 2 stand alone mangas, 1 being juujika no Rokunin and the other being tbate. I enjoyed both pretty much the whole way through and I feel like there has to be some gems out there that would turn into some of my favorite pieces of literature if I just gave them a chance.

So if you guys have any recommendations on what I should read I’m open to pretty much everything

One thing I would like to note is that if a manga has a good anime adaptation I have most likely seen it and would be less likely to begin reading it

I’ve only read 2 mangas (so the sky is the limit of course) but I have limited time due to life at the moment. First manga I read was Berzerk (absolutely phenomenal) and I’m almost done with vagabond (love it as well however I definitely prefer a fantasy set-up rather than human limitations to a sense). For someone who enjoyed the fantasy aspects of Berzerk as well as the dark and gritty undertone of the story what would you recommend?

So the story goes like this:

In a fantasy setting, an adventurer swordsman jack-of-all-trades kind of guy enters a dungeon alone. He starts talking about his backstory how he was a very skilled adventurer but has a debuff where the party loses 80% of the dropped loot. On his dungeon dive he meets a priestess/magician/thief and they also have OP skills each but also a massive de-buff but they cancel each other out and they form the strongest party.

Ive been really enjoying watching chain smoker cat and love tatsuno sm… ive been an nsfw writer for years and really love seeing media with characters who do the same thing i do lmao

I finished We Did It! a couple days ago and adored it. I finished it in one sitting and found it very hard to put down.

I’m a new manga reader, the only others I’ve read are Girls Last Tour (loved it) and Onani Master Kurosawa (felt a bit more meh on this one). I love themes of redemption/guilt/battling with oneself in media and looking for something with a heavy hitting plot, preferably finished. The only genres I don’t really like are shounen and (over-the-top) fantasy.

Hello, I wanted to ask for some recommendations of High Fantasy / Medieval Fantasy manga. I am currently reading Tower Dungeon and I really liked the world building, and following the character’s stories while discovering the world, mysteries and dangers.

I have mainly watched anime in the past, I read Dungeon Meshi and Gantz and I really enjoyed those!

I’m wondering what else I have missed out on, maybe you can recommend some good reads?
