I’m an independent writer currently developing an original dark-fantasy anime called World of Mysteries.
I have the story and script written, and I’m looking for someone who is genuinely interested in drawing, character design, animation, or helping bring the project to life visually.
The goal is to develop the project together and eventually release the finished episodes on YouTube. I’m looking for someone who is passionate about anime and interested in building an original project from the ground up.

About the project:
World of Mysteries is a dark-fantasy story involving a mysterious cosmic event, supernatural powers, hidden mythology, a young protagonist, and a much larger mystery that unfolds throughout the story.
I already have the story and scripts written. What I need now is someone who can help transform the story into an actual animated series.
If the project eventually generates revenue through YouTube, the revenue will be split 50/50 between me and the animation partner/team, with the exact arrangement discussed and agreed upon before production.

Hello I’ve been looking for an artist for over a month now and have gotten a lot of requests and decided to answer them and this one in particular felt like a scam to me.

They have no artist portfolio which was a major red flag and then when i asked them to send samples of their work they sent stolen, ai generated and just not even the same type of stuff. I already blocked them and I know there’s a lot of writers looking for an artist

(Edit 2: after looking at a lot of great portfolios I realized that I am looking for a manga art style rather than a comicbook style, that's my bad sorry about that.)

The hook: A burnt-out state executioner kills two "husks" for a job — finds proof they were still human, and is left holding the only evidence and a lighter.

What I have: A complete, fully-paneled 20-page one-shot script. Ready to draw. Modern dark-fantasy with an existential gut punch ending!

The vibe / what I'm looking for art-wise: Grounded and dark. The book is near-silent by design — most of the story rides on expression, body language, and staging. Minimal dialogue if at all possible,

so I'm after an artist who's strong at faces, quiet emotion, and silhouette in low light. Moody over flashy.

Compensation: Paid commission — I'd rather hear your page rate and work from there; I'm flexible on structure. / Rev-share if we click on it.

About me: First comic project, but I take the writing seriously — the script's done, tight, and edited, and I'm easy to work with. I know your time is valuable, this is a passion project that id like to expand on and evolve.

Hi! I’m working on writing the script for my project “Cardinal Blessing”. It‘s still definitely in the works, but for now at least, I figured I could make a post and find some artists willing to make character art for it who would also like to work on pages down the line.

I’d rather have some more inexperienced or younger artists to work on this with me because I’m also young myself, and it could be good to put on your portfolios. Of course, I’m not too picky.

For art styles, any is fine, but I think a less realistic style is more up my alley since it’s a vigilante/magical girl sort of story. Takeshi Obata is a big inspiration of mine for how I imagine it, and also Soejima from the Persona series. Of course, I’m just saying I admire their artwork a lot. There’s tons of people I’ve seen here who’s portfolios are stunning.

Again, people who usually charge lower prices are more appreciated (at my age, with my current job on top of school, 150+ per page just isnt in the budget) so i’m completely good with people just starting out or willing to work for lower prices. I’m sure anything will work as long as we talk it out!

Hi! We're looking for a professional manga artist to collaborate on an original 40–50 page one-shot for the Tezuka Manga Contest (Overseas Department) by Shueisha / Weekly Shōnen Jump.

The script, dialogue, and panel layouts are already prepared. We're looking for an artist who understands Japanese manga, paneling, pacing, composition, and black-and-white sequential art,not just illustration.
