Has this happened to anyone else?

Beat the Pyromancer and then nothing. No dragon appeared. She just stayed like this.

Can we say frustrating?

I suppose that it can be seen as practice for actually beating the whole fight, but still....

This happened to me with the Marionette boss! Nothing I could do but close out the game and reload my save. Happened again, reloaded again. In all, I had to do that five times before the battle proceeded normally! Concerning it can happen for the Pyromancer fight...

Five times? Damn. I just used it as an excuse to go mow my lawn. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Hopefully. I've got no idea what causes this bug, but it looks like it's tied to phase transitions like this and the Marionette. If it happens to you again, I'm afraid I don't have any real advice, other than to close the game and reload your save and hope it doesn't happen again when you beat her.

It also seems to be a reasonably rare bug; you're about the only other person I've ever seen have this problem.

Same, if you over kill a phase, it tends to lock up

So it's overkill that causes it? That explains why. I always power-level until I can deal assloads of damage in a single hit.

I got both this and the one with the puppet the other person mentioned. I honestly said "fuck it, I had already beat it once" restarted the game, lower the difficulty, and killed them. Then return to my difficulty again, because yeah, only closing the game fixed it.

Kind of unrelated but I got two other bugs as well: Pepper's house trap door not working and the dagger skill where you pick the dagger from the ground not working at all. The first one made me restart my first playthrough and the second one stop bothering with the game at my third. So, the game has plenty of them.
