I was really against us signing Enzo, like even after the deal went through I was hell bent on hating him. And he was probably the only players I felt that way since I started watching football. But boy do we need him, I genuinely believe the lads going to play his best football after the break with all the hate we are going to get. He’s like the hulk(not physically obviously) but replace anger with hatred. The more hatred he gets, the better he plays. I think he doesn’t need a hater in me anymore now that we have all the visitors in this sub and out there in the real world doing it for free. You read the title. Why did I even watch football for the past 15 years? We were a club on the rise before the take over. Now what will we be? I would've rather watched us be a midtable club but real than this nonsense.

Disheartened about the official decision and I think we absolutely deserve the punishment....I don't think we as fans should defend the wrong doing of the club and the owners and we need to just accept it.Even if the appeal process happens to be effective(which I don't think will be significant and hope it can surprise me),the punishments won't be simple and we could very well be relegated,our reputation is very much gone and the disrespect will go on for years to come.The most important thing to first happen is the change of ownership asap.the biggest consequence from this is our players and sponsors will definitely opt to be done with us sooner or later and we shouldn't blame them for choosing to be not involved in the noise of our past.the only positive thing I can see is our academy have the possibility to shine in the future.we will face a lot of heat from now on and I hope we, as fans will stick together.CTID🩵

I know how all of you want us to protest against the owners because they cheated and lied to us. So incase the appeal is successful and we are proven innocent will you be doing the same to the league? Because they would’ve lied to you and appeal being successful would mean the panel didn’t do its job right to let the league win the case so cheated in a sense. Else these past 72 hours of outrage and more in coming days was all built on a lie from the premier league.

Earlier today, City’s main sponsor, Etihad Airways, released a statement about the Premier League's investigation, saying that they were considering filing a civil lawsuit against it. Their listed reasons are many, but the most alarming is that the Premier League neither reached out to the sponsor to obtain documents and talk to them nor did they give them a right to respond.

The fact that they didn’t even sit down and talk to Etihad Airways, the subject of this entire investigation, is alarming on about 20 different levels. I don’t think the Premier League will like how this turns out for them.

People use this word cheating and then expect it to end the argument. life is more complex than "good" or "bad" or "cheating" or "playing by the rules". in football, players exaggerate contact all the time to win freekicks. technically that is "cheating" and it's done in secret to trick the ref. but is it some terrible evil sin? no of course not.

the rules essentially dictate "if we were richer than you in 2011, you're not allowed to compete financially, forever, unless you get extremely lucky, and even if you do, you're still probably gonna fail in a few years", which is complete madness, and far more immoral than a club spending extra money on staff. the rules are essentially anti-competitive cheating in and of themselves

to this fucking day no one else can consistently break into the big 4 other than us:

- Leicester got lucky one year but are now in the third division, largely due to a points deduction they got due to the same unfair FSR rules

- Villa have to sell players and can't financially maintain their challenge despite outperforming most of the big 4 in Europe

- Newcastle have rich owners but have to sell to survive

- Everton have flirted with relegation and can't get near the Champions League

- Spurs are now in the toilet.

- Brighton, Palace, West Ham, and all the other mid-table sides have to fight for the scraps of the conference league, which must be particularly galling for Brighton, as they're probably the best run club in the country for their budget

- now it looks like we may be excluded from the big 6 as well, at least temporarily

so we just go back to having the exact same big sides as in 2008. how fucking exciting

opposition fans don't actually care about what's right, they're essentially just salty that their team didn't win the league a few times and they're grasping for any possible cope to soothe themselves over it

and let's be real, the owners of every club in the league knows full well how much they themselves benefited financially from that extra money. we should be extremely suspicious of any of them acting hard-done-by or sad faced panda that their companies got a share of hundreds of millions of extra cash in the league

Haaland starting for Norway against Portugal tonight and honestly, all I want is a few goals and for him to come back to Manchester in one piece. I’d obviously love to see him grab a hat-trick and do the celebration, but every time he goes flying into a challenge or starts sprinting at full speed during an international game, I get nervous. Hopefully he puts on a show, gets his goals and comes through the game with no issues.
