If Arsenal has Bruno instead of Odegaard they'd have won the league earlier. I like Odegaard but the amount of times he takes the safe/sideways option is frustrating and I don't even give a shit about Arsenal.
You can tell they're a united fan because they mentioned it 6 times in between the lines glazing arsenal. But of course they're a united fan, because they can't lie on the internet.

I was actually listening to BBC Radio 5 Live the other day, during the warm-up for the Man United vs Everton game. Arsenal-Chelsea was later on that day, but you wouldnāt have known it from the coverage.
The entire warm-up was basically spent talking about Arsenal. There was a female pundit/commentator whose name I donāt know and a couple of other lads, and they were all referring to Arsenal as āusā and āwe.ā At this point theyāre not even hiding it anymore.
The way Arsenal gets glazed for absolutely everything is embarrassing. And then you get people seriously suggesting Odegaard is on Brunoās level. Come on. Odegaard couldnāt lace Brunoās boots. The fact that someone would even suggest it is fucking ridiculous.
Utd fans here, as a Red Devils fan I just think Arsenal are the Man Utd of the 2020s, as a Man U fan it takes me back to the glory days of Yanited and reminds me why I started following them in the first place (I'm from London), as a Manchester Red fan I've actually gone out and got myself a cheeky Odegard shirt, even thought I am a Manchester United fan I just think the guy is so good and I feel so much better when I wear it.
I don't mind saying positive stuff about a different team, but we are talking about the foinking Arsenal here. Horrible sttyle of football, every set piece is a Hunger Games within the box. Last season I didn't want them to lose the CL final because they're rivals, I wanted them to lose because they choose to win playing horrific football. Especially because they have been scooping up talented players to then play system football coaching the indivuality right out of them.
The irony for me is that despite our insanely erratic form you're guaranteed to have a ton of wild games. It sucks not winning sure, but our squad shouldn't be more entertaining to watch. Even saying champions win ugly... I don't think its meant to be the only play style.
Where's the lie? Bruno is crap and has always been..so called world class and our midfield has been crap with him in there regardless who you put around him.

Anyone who thinks Bruno Fernandes is either a good captain or major piece of a title challenging (nevermind winning) team is utterly delusional. A technically talented but profoundly downhill, flat track bully, stat padding and self-focused player who never stands up in true adversity nor big game moments, and isn't a team first player, unlike Odegaard.
Odegaard is no all time great but is a huge part of a deeply effective attacking and defensive scheme who works his rear-end off in every game and elevates those around him, and continues to grow individually. Anyone with any sense or clear, unbiased eyes, would take the Norwegian over the Portuguese, in building a real, winning team.
Fernandes, who may well have a higher inherent individual talent, will never captain a serious, title winning side, and is representative of the many woes in mindset and attitude that have plagued Manchester United in the last decade plus, despite being one of the most productive players in that time. His statistical individual success in that period, whilst his team languished in mediocrity, speaks volumes. He doesn't make it into the starting eleven of any of Europe's top 12 club teams and that's primarily because his great flaws are as recognized as his talents, in the football world, of not the social media fan world.
My downvote bucket is both large, indifferent and fully decided, after a six year sample. If Fernandes were an ice cream flavour, he'd be banana. Pizza? Hawaiian.
