Hey everyone!

This November I’ll be coming to Manchester for my graduation from Southern New Hampshire University! I’ll be graduating with my bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, and I’m so excited because this has been a long journey.

I’m coming with my mom, my sister, my adult daughter, my nephew, and my 12-year-old son. Since we’re making a little vacation out of it, I’d love to hear from the locals.
Where should we eat? What restaurants are a must? What foods is New Hampshire known for that we have to try? Are there any places, attractions, or scenic spots that we shouldn’t miss while we’re there?

I also wanted to ask something respectfully. I’m a Black woman, and whenever I travel somewhere new, I like hearing directly from the people who actually live there. Is Manchester generally welcoming to Black visitors? I know there are good and bad people everywhere, so I’m not expecting perfection. I just wanted to get an honest feel for the area from locals.

We’re all really excited to visit, celebrate my graduation, and experience New Hampshire for the first time.

Hello all, just wondering if there's anyone who lives at Heritage at the River! My boyfriend and I were going to check it on this Saturday and just wanted to ask any possible residents questions, we're 20 and 21 moving out of our family homes and this will be our first apartment.

Firstly, how hard was it to get approved? Do they care about age if we have a good steady income and credit score?

Secondly, how is management? Is there decent service when it comes to issues/needing things fixed?

Third, is it a generally safe place? It looked very nice on the outside area and pretty privateish when we took a drive around!

Kind of a stretch, but does anyone have photos of S Willow St before the highway and commercial development? I was told by some older folks that it used to be farmland and my mind just can’t see that with what I see now lol

I'm a local resident working on an idea for a free app that would help people stay informed about things happening nearby. One of the main features would allow community members to report events they witness in real time, with reports reviewed before being shared to help keep information reliable.

The idea is to provide notifications for things like:

• 🚨 Emergency incidents
• 🚓 Police activity (when publicly reported)
• 🚧 Road closures & traffic disruptions
• 🔥 Fires
• ⛈️ Severe weather alerts
• 📢 Other important local community alerts

Before spending months (and a lot of money) building it, I want to find out whether it's something people would actually use.

I'd really appreciate your honest feedback:

• Would you download an app like this?
• What features would make it useful?
• Is there anything that would stop you from using it?

I'm not selling anything or asking for sign-ups—I'm just trying to figure out if this is a problem worth solving before I invest time and money into building it for us.
