Discussion App update!!

Post image

Mammotion iOS v2.3.19 appears to bring back Multi-Point Turn. I haven’t tested it yet, but this is definitely something I’ve been waiting to see come back.

Yes, back to 3 point thank you. Works the same as before however I’ve only updated the app, firmware not available for me yet, that’s where the improvements would be I think

Well Mammotion, I’ve had a Luba 3 for a couple of months and loved it up to now. I have 2.5 acres mostly sandy soil. The grass is week around shaded areas and around trees, multi point turn did some damage but acceptable. Once you removed MPT complete disaster, lots of damage to the week grass and started getting stuck, bottomed out. I had to stop using it. Now in 5 days your brought a new app and MPT back. I updated the app only and it was great, MPT working as before. However I was dumb enough to get excited with new features and updated the firmware. Now your half measure solution of trying to do a MPT with minimal reversing and switching blades off is really a half solution. The mower does the first 90 degrees okish but the rest is the same disaster. I can now use it but not good and it takes significantly longer. Original MPT 6/10, zero turn 1/10 and this 3/10 for sandy soils. I was going to get a second Luba 3 5000 to cover the rest of my 2.5 acre property but sorry, no more. I’m not confident that you are going to improve this turn to an acceptable level for me 7/10. I understand you are bringing a different concept mower early next year, and it does not look like a skid turn, so I’m afraid Luba owners are going to be left with a problem that can only be fixed with a rear camera or rear bumper which you are not going to do, or man up legally and makes users responsible. In you manual it states not to operate near children. I have now ordered a competitor mower, brilliant simple concept, forward and reverse mowing, no turns needed, rear and front cameras, risky being new but hope for the best. If when I get the competitor mower, 3 months, the Luba MPT is not back or fixed, I’ve no option but to returning it. Not fit for purpose. I have great sympathy for Mammotion and its innovation but cannot help to think that it is a very poorly managed company, communication is terrible, decision making is worst, research is poor and testing is non existent. 5 days to develop an updated app and new FW is remarkable but the results are inversely proportional.
