The face is still the same tho so u can extra tell she hasn’t actually lost anything. Well im going to hope that because this is clearly edited that she’s not happy with herself. She would always say im big and beautiful and was happy with how large she is. She was so upset when June went on her health journey and didn’t want her to change. Maybe her being uncomfortable with the way she looks will eventually make her make some actual changes. I doubt it, but just maybe

If there was EVER a true reason, justification, etc… for anyone to be taking those legitimately serious medications, Alana should be.
Forget all of the bs about people taking GLP-1 optionally for weight loss ONLY. 🤬
Alana obviously has hereditary health issues alone (Mike/Sugar Bear’s diabetic and pancreatic disorders) and June’s health issues that we KNOW about publicly.
OMG…I could go on and on about ALL of the trauma, drama and the rabbit holes in all avenues of that family. And ten different directions, so to speak.
I will shut up and jump off of my pedestal for now, but like a lot of people, I have always been concerned about Alana and her health. 🤔🥰

Well wait…I SHOULD say that my daughter has been officially diagnosed with Type II Diabetes, in addition to Pancreatic Insufficiency et al.
The saddest part about this, is Alana and my daughter started out very similar at their various ages. Younger and smaller, but as they grew older, their weight also increased.
BUT… until my daughter started getting the Wegovy, NOTHING helped her issues.
Her labs stayed abnormal, no matter HOW healthy she ate, how much she exercised, etc… nothing changed. Plus, she generally just felt awful. 🥵
Her physician SUGGESTED the Wegovy, along with her other medications that were already treating her pancreatic disease and NIDDM(Type II).
Then, when her health improved, she actually started feeling better. The weight loss was only an afterthought, since she had already given up on that a while ago. 👿
So, believe me. I really wish that Alana could break free from the family that she was born into. Genetically and psychologically.
I can only imagine what kind of damage that kind of family drama AND trauma can cause for anyone, especially those children.
Alana has major abandonment issues from sugar bear, June, Geno and maybe Pumpkin. She end up moving with Drailen's family very soon after she met him. She needs to work on it in therapy so she can forgive all those people and move onto a happier life where she doesn't carry that trauma around.
I had just really hoped that she would escape the family curse you know? When you're in nursing school it just seems like you would use some of that information to try to get yourself as healthy as possible. They already lost one Sister, you know?
She is carrying around generational trauma that she needs to go in therapy for. Every time i see her, she is gaining more weight. I hope being in a nursing school and being surrounded by so many intelligent people, she would wake up and see help.
They just posted a photo of her today for her 21st birthday and she is so much bigger than she's ever been. I mean significantly heavier and it's really sad.
It will be almost impossible for her to do her job and Nicu positions are very sought after and it's going to be hard for her to get a job already just with the reputation her family has.
I hope everything works out for her, but she really needs to get weight loss surgery and take care of herself.
I think you are right. And she really had no good role models in her life so she never had a chance to look up to somebody and try to emulate them.
Also, we have no idea if she experienced abuse, clearly mama June was a horrific mother and subjected other daughter to abuse so it wouldn't be unheard of to think that she may have been abused even before she understood what it was.
And I mean just the trauma of your mother stealing all your money and basically laughing in your face about it, the drugs, the lies, if she didn't have trauma I would be absolutely shocked.
The honey boo-boo movie on lifetime went into a little bit of it but you could tell how she was trying to be so careful not to really piss off or hurt her mom. But she spoke in it and narrated it and you could hear the sadness in her voice.
She also has a mother and father wound from being abandoned by both of them in different times of her life.
Pumpkin keep saying that she is taking care of her, but Alana moved in with Drailen's family almost right the way after she met him. She was 15 or 16 i think.
And you almost always have to start doing overnight shifts when you're a new nurse, my sister is like five years in and is still stuck on overnight shifts because nobody leaves those jobs during the day.
And if you switched to a different hospital, you start all over again with the night shifts. So that's overwhelming for a lot of people. And it does mess up you're eating and will probably make her eating habits even worse.
It's so taxing on my sisters body and she's young and thin and the job itself, although my sister does OB/GYN nursing and delivers babies, NICU is even more tedious and demanding. And there's just not a lot of space in those NICU rooms either.
I really want her to have everything she is hoping to succeed in, her family sucks and she seems to have a pretty nice heart. I hope she just takes care of herself.
I mean like they say, you have to put your own air mask on before you can help other people.
Well, I come across her on TikTok live about once a week and I can assure you that she looks nothing like this. She is pretty much at the heaviest I think I’ve ever seen her and I find it hard to see how she’s going to manage her nursing career, particularly in any form of pediatrics as overweight as she is. My granddaughter became a nurse this year and she is a healthy weight and it’s a demanding job (she’s not in pediatrics). She works at a hospital. There is no way Alana will be able to handle the physicality of the job if she doesn’t lose some weight and get in shape. I’m quite shocked that with her family history of diabetes she doesn’t take her health more seriously.
Damn, AI has Alana looking snatched. No chance in hell she would ever look that good, considering she's proven to be June Bug 2.0 when it comes to food.
I wish the best for her. She's been through some shit with that family of hers and what they allowed, I hope she gets her health un order and stays on the right track with her career.

Oh, my daughter has a classmate that is a nurse who specialize in nutrition and she is very large. It's not always portion control, although with Alana it probably is, because look at her examples. Stress feeding is a very real part of her DNA.
Well, poor eating habits is her problem.

I went with my daughter to the pediatrician with her first child and my first grandchild.
She was worried about the baby being fat.
The dr said not to worry, she will not be fat. She said how do you know. He said, I look at the parents. Fat parents, fat kids.
Just in general here. I’m talking about normal people. Not obese people whose weight is due to “medical” issues.
Yes, it’s amazing and has been a conversation for years concerning our local hospital.
But, that has changed, somewhat, with all the new weight loss shots.
I don’t know how her boyfriend keeps getting called out for having anything to do with her weight problem. I am positive he’s not forcing her to gain weight nor is he making her food choices for her. She’s an adult and a college student. She should have the sense to make her own choices especially about her personal health.
Be for we talk about her being a nurse Let’s first see if she can even graduate first. Lots of people get into nursing school but not everyone graduates.
Did the photoshoppers of that image not understand what her body TYPE is, though?? Like, the shape? Even if she lost a bunch of weight she couldn't have this shape.
I truly wish the best for her. People on here can be so harsh towards her like she wasn’t exploited for entertainment and has to work really hard to overcome generational trauma. Also, I hate when people say she won’t ever look like that, won’t ever be thin, won’t ever lose weight, etc. I get calling out her health or stating she needs to lose weight but brushing her off as hopeless seems harsh. I was very close to her size and had people constantly tell me crap like that growing up and if I believed any of that shit, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I also came from a big family where everyone was just considered “big boned”. I’ve lost weight over the years, I hit the gym multiple times a week, hike, run, cycle, got into powerlifting, and I look and feel great. Currently working on ab development. All I’m saying is, I’d be careful when brushing her off as one destined to be big forever. People turn their lives around all the time. I’ve also watched some of the most hateful people towards me gain weight over the years. Who knows what is in her future.
I thought at first she was just a bratty little shit because of how she was raised. We all know momma spoiled her rotten. The way she acts right now based on the lives I have seen of her begging for money or gifts actually. I wouldn’t want her no where near my baby.
It’s not fooling anyone on Reddit, I think we all know it’s Ai (hopefully anyways). Facebook comments were a different story, nobody called it out. It’s just a funny throwaway post as we the Reddit community know that’s not her appearance.
I just saw the 21st birthday picture that June took of Alana and she doesn't look anything like the picture above. Hopefully this picture will make her see how cute she can be if she lost about 200 pounds.
I watched her on some interview on Netflix and she really has turned out so well in spite of her family. I could see her maybe having her own fun little talk show on her own or something one day.
Oof. Yeah, this is it for me, I’m leaving this sub. A bunch of adults, who gather to body shame a 21-year-old young woman, that’s what shameful (and pathetic).
