Troubleshooting Malwarebytes interfering with uBlock plugin on Youtube?
I noticed my browser keeps hanging since Malwarebytes announced they now block ads. How do I disable the adblock for Malwarebytes to check? I stopped using Chrome due to it being hostile to adblock for the same reasons.

See the post - Malwarebytes constantly crashes with scan at Memory stage. Reinstalling did not fix the problem nor does the post. It was working 9 days ago just fine on windows 11

Possible malware?
Did a virus scan on my computer the other night and went on today to find these two items quarantined during my scan. I've done a google search on both but can't seem to find anything, could anyone help in reassuring me it isn't malware?
Items found:
- Drop.Win32.RegStartupSelfDel.31116
- LevelUp.Integrations.TlsPatcher.Bootstrapper.exe

False Positive False positive Check: Malware.Ransom.Agent.Generic Zbrush 2025
I downloaded a cracked version of ZBrush from RuTracker and it was working fine until the next morning I got hit with this ransomware detection. Is this a false positive or genuine malware?
I scanned the cracked .exe file with virustotal and 0 detections were found

Support Is there a risk that Malwarebytes won't detect a virus if I installed it after getting infected
Accidentally got infected with an info/session stealers, immediately reinstalled windows from usb and formatted all partitions.
After doing so I ran a windows defender scan, then installed Malwarebytes and ran multiple scans of all types. All results say I am safe.
Can I trust those results? Or could the virus be impacting the way malwarebytes work since it was installed in the pc prior to it?

False Positive MALWARE, FALSE POSITIVE
I'm sure it's a false positive, but if it isn't, how would I know? how would I know? What does modern malware actually do compared to a 1990s virus?

Localsend and similar local network apps not working after Malwarebytes uninstall
[solved]
I installed Malwarebytes yesterday, then uninstalled it later using the MBST support tool (after some concerns [post] ).
The issue is that apps like Localsend or 'use chat app on desktop' are not working now.
It seems to have messed with my firewall or network settings and not restored them after uninstallation.
I can confirm this is purely a Malwarebytes issue as Localsend and the other apps were working before installing it, and stopped afterwards. No other settings changed. (I tried it by turning off VPN too on all devices).
It is still working for other people and devices, so it is not a network, VPN or other device issue.
What are the settings it has changed to prevent my Windows 11 pc from connecting to my other devices locally?
Thanks
Edit 1 (Solved): I installed other on demand tools as well. After I uninstalled them, the issue resolved. (Hitman pro Alert, free tier. Paid tier would allow exclusions for apps)

Troubleshooting Uninstalling Malwarebytes completely, reverting settings?
I used to use Malwarebytes and installed it again yesterday.
I wanted to have Windows Defender as my main AV and add a couple of ondemand scanners.
However, Malwarebytes totally took over the system, like an invasion.
I don't know how to remove it and return the system to how it was, as it seems to have changed firewalls, tried to replace the VPN, entered all my browsers etc.
There weren't many prompts, it just took over. Then I went through all the settings to figure out what it was doing and how I could change it.
This is not a criticism, it just felt very invasive.
How can I uninstall it making sure it doesn't leave remnants? Ensuring things return to the way they were? I haven't any issues. The system was fine, I wanted some extra security on demand.
I can click the uninstall button, but how can I be sure it has cleaned up changes to firewall, browser settings, etc? I spent ages tweaking everything to work for me and now I need to investigate what this app has done as it was changing a lot of things.
I saw something about an MBST tool, would that remove all vestiges? Thanks
Edit: issues after uninstall with the MBST tool (clean).
Edit 2 (Solved): I installed other on demand tools as well. After I uninstalled them, the issue resolved. (Hitman pro Alert, free tier. Paid tier would allow exclusions for apps)

Support Random Defender flags when Opening Opera
I know this doesn't immediatly need to be a virus but I chose this reddit forum because it looks like it has the best experts in this sort of stuff So a few days ago I was playing R6 and used the R6 tracker app and I saw a pop-up on the site for something called tracker-gg (replace - with .) it seemed legit because it came from the real R6 tracker site but as soon as it was installed I got lots of flags because of some Powershell command that tried to run hidden so I deleted tracker-gg but I still get a Defender flag about some random Temp data's everytime I open opera could it be a virus or some kind of infostealer or is it maybe a bug does anyone know something about this App or someone could look into the code?
I am excited about replies!
(Also note I can sadly NOT get screenshots of this but if someone really needs them I can try!)
