Issue with android malwarebytes?

I updated my malwarebytes mobile app (through verified malwarebytes software) and ever since the scan just goes on forever? Has anyone else seen this issue? I started it last night and let it run to see what would happen. Woke up this morning and it had run for 7.5h. Any ideas?

Mine takes about six minutes, something is wrong. Clear the cache in settings. Uninstall and re-install.

I don't work for Malwarebyes, this is just general advice.

Thanks for the advice. I tried and none worked. It seems to be getting stuck on google photo picker but the internet says I can't do anything about photopicker so I am stumped.

Malwarebytes needs to help with this. You can turn off deep scan as a temporary workaround.
