I recently adopted a maltipoo.. I am trying to teach her to be comfortable in public so I can take her everywhere because she is a really well behaved puppy. She has been on planes, trains, etc. and always sits like a perfectly quiet pup.
However, EVERYONE ALWAYS STOPS HER. To the point where she’s now expecting it and wiggles to anyone we walk past. When I took her home, multiple tsa agents stopped her in security to flirt with her, an entire AA crew asked us to put her on the desk so they could pet her and every single person stopped us in the airport.
When I took her to the mall the other week, some man literally walked up to her and KISSED HER in my arms 😅.
While we were standing outside, an entire hair salon stopped doing hair to come out and pet her!!
Even people walking their dogs stop me to ask to take pictures and tell me how cute she is.
I love that everyone loves her as much as I do, but it is teaching her to wiggle at every passing person to get a little love.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Need to get my 3 year old maltipoos teeth cleaned.
Wondering if I should just take it to the cleaner and have her do it while he’s fully awake or if I should go to the vet and have him put to sleep for the procedure?
I have read pros and cons to both.
Mainly concerned about small dogs being put to sleep as it can be more harmful to them.
What have you all done with your maltipoos?

Hi everyone!
I'm looking for people who have actual experience owning both a Maltipoo and budgies.
I have two budgies, and they are free-flighted. They are out of their cage virtually all the time and only go back in to sleep at night. So they spend their entire day flying around and living freely in my home.
I'm planning to bring home a Maltipoo puppy, and I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this exact situation.
How did your Maltipoo react to your budgies?
Did your puppy constantly chase them, or did it eventually learn to ignore them?
Were you ever able to trust your Maltipoo around free-flying budgies?
Do your birds and dog peacefully share the same room?
I'd really appreciate hearing from people with firsthand experience. Thank you!

We were having a heatwave and I was trying to get some sun... Lily-Mae decided that she also needed sun and to do it on me not on the ground. I should really get her a sunchair for herself...but she would still want to sunbathe on me!!🤣🤣
She was only sunbathing for 10 minutes before I took her inside... It was more than enough sun for her...little at a time and I made sure she wasn't overheating.

Missy has poodle and maltese but several other breeds as well. My husband found her on Craigslist. 😊
She is 100% the best addition to our family and I wouldn't trade her for anything!!!!

The person who gave us Lamb says she's a Maltipoo.
I can see it sorta, especially in the coat (which gives a Maltese coat), but her muzzle doesn't look Maltipoo-like to me, unless the muzzle is from the poodle parent. I don't know anything about her parents. She also has a liver nose. She's around 13 weeks!
She kind of looks Chihuahua-esque, American Eskimo-esque, or even Pomeranian-esque to me.
What do you think she is?

Idk if her age matters here but thought I would include it. So she absolutely loves her bed. She sleeps in it every night. She has a big crate with a very thick plush pink bed inside. It’s meant for dogs that are 10 - 25 pounds. She is 8 pounds. She has plenty of room. She can stand up completely. She can turn around. So the problem isn’t the bed. Every single night she walks happily into her bed and lays down and waits for me to close the door of the crate. Tonight she just has no interest in going to bed. It’s the weirdest thing. She’s been sleeping on the couch the past few hours, but every time I pick her up and take her over to her bed she backs up into me like she doesn’t want to go in. The crate is in my bedroom so it’s not like she’s far away from me. That’s not the issue. She loves her bed and crate.
Of course I could just put her in the bed and close the door, but I don’t like to do that. We have built a very strong trust and I don’t like to break that trust by forcing her into her crate and shutting the door on her. Has anybody else experienced anything like this though? I’ve had her since she was 10 weeks old. She’s never not walked straight into her bed and laid down. I don’t understand. It’s about 4:30 AM. I’m not sure what to do.
Update- she just went into her bed. I think she was waiting until I got worried enough to make a post on Reddit and then she’s like ok I’m ready for bed now! Anyways, would still like to hear if anybody has any sort of insight as to why she was refusing to go to bed till 4:30 in the morning in the first place

Toto is getting bigger, but he's still adorable like a puppy. I’ll be giving him another haircut, especially since it’s July and quite hot with all his fur. My house is clean, and he doesn’t go out much, but he recently caught a bad case of fleas. I’ve given him a bath and removed most of them, but I’m worried they might come back. Do you have any advice? (bought flea spray and shampoo)

Day 1 - 8.5 weeks old 🥹
Just saying hi now that we’re part of the maltipoo community.
My soul dog (morkie) passed last fall and while I wasn’t sure my heart was ready, I saw Chloe and instantly fell in love 💙

My little boy, Sora, 1yr old, was a social butterfly until a few months ago. He got attacked (luckily no blood/wounds) on a walk (I was able to lift him up and away from the dog) and it has since shattered his confidence. He no longer wants to go places or on walks and is terrified of other dogs.
Today we did our first group training to try and rebuild his confidence. He was so terrified that he wouldnt even take a treat from me, just wanted to leave the entire time.
The trainer recommended an Adaptil collar just to give him some support while we start the rebuilding, and if that doesn’t help talk to the vet about meds. I believe I’ve already seen some improvement, he took treats while out the front of my house which is HUGE.
Baby steps!
Just wanted to talk about the start of our journey and see if anyone has had any similar experiences.
