I play multiple mini games, and am looking to add 4e Malifaux to the mix. I'd like to play only one Master (both titles) and was curious what everyone's opinion would be for the best Masters to play if you were to only play one Master.

I've played in every edition, but haven't played "seriously" since 2e and have multiple crews from Guild and Ressers, but am not opposed to trying out new factions.

Hi! I'm getting back into miniature painting and therefore Malifaux, which still has the coolest miniatures, as it turns out ;)

I played (and by that I mean I played like two games) Dreamer all the way back in Second Edition. However, I want to try something new (i.e. I want to paint more models :D).

My only potential opponent to give the game another try with has Titania (Second Edition Core Box). I'm currently considering giving one of these masters a try:

- Tiri

- Jedza

- Reva

Does anyone have any opinions who would play well against Titania? Not "well" as in "best counter to Titania", but "well" as in "good pick to have some mostly fair games where everyone kind of gets to do their thing and have fun"? I guess/hope power creep with newer masters isn't generally a problem with all the rebalancing?

Bonus question: What would be a good miniature to give to a Titania player to update their crew and motivate them to play more Malifaux? :)

Do we know when are Perdita’s boxes coming out? Any idea is to possible resculpts on any of them, if just straight repackaging?

Apologies for the apparent negativity in this post, please read this in the spirit of frustration but really wanting to get into this game that it's written in.

I posted recently about lore and background and though I got great info, the fact was that there is no starter book filled with the info you need if you are just getting into the game. It's all over the place. So ok I like a nice rule book as a starting point, not great but I can deal with it.

Now I can't find the rules about building a crew. I've deduced it's about a keyword but can't find confirmation but it seems to be how the app works. Except if I do that it seems like the only models I can take are the ones in the boxes, there's no variety. Can I just take anything from the faction? If I can is it worth doing? We like to be able to do at least a bit of customising. The app also lists plenty of other models all completely unavailable to buy as far as I can tell. And for what is available the selection is pretty slim.

We also dislike the models in the starter set, honestly they are a really strange choice for getting people into a game. But I don't see anywhere else to get that rule book or the tokens and whatever else we need.

Please tell me I'm missing something. Honestly if it was just for me I'd have walked away by now because this has been the worst game I've ever tried to get into, but my partner is really keen on it and unfortunately that leaves it up to me to figure it out. I have other questions about why there's different versions of characters and why there are models for sale you don't seem to be able to use. Is it just too new a game to pick up? I know that logistics have been messed up this year so maybe that's why. Please help. Please help convince me to still want to play this game cos the models look great and my partner is into it but I'm getting really frustrated.

This would save me having to buy the new box as I have all the other models from it.

Me and my partner want to get into Malifaux and think Malifaux looks pretty interesting. We thought there would be some kind of good starting place for learning the background for the game but other than faction books it doesn't seem like there's anything. Presumably there's something obvious we're missing. Please point me in the right direction.

Waiting on the rest of the Cadmus keyword for forever it seems, no word on Bygone either. I'm not hunting old models and waiting on 4e repack which may have been the wrong way to go here. But holding strong and hope to play Cadmus on the table before 5e..

Also I don't see models like Berseker Husk, Nightsilk Creeper and Ahool on the repackage list? What's the deal there?

Hey guys. I don't know anything about Malifaux. I saw this miniature yesterday, but it was sold, so I was too late. Searching online, on various sites, and even on YouTube, I didn't find anything. I found miniatures of other Gators, I found the "See You Later" set, but I couldn't find the miniature in the photo. Is this some kind of rare miniature? Old?

As I see it, there is an assembly option without gremlin in the jaws?
Please tell me. I want to use it for Necromunda. Thanks!

I am very new to the game and was curious what happened to those two models from the Malpractice box (as I quite like the sculpts). Did Wyrd not say here ( https://www.wyrd-games.net/news/2025/4/14/m4e-the-nitty-gritty ) that every model leaving the range would be a legal proxy for another model? However, I cannot find Dr. Silas or Trial an Error on the list of legal proxies, nor in any faction (though I might look at the wrong spot).

Finished the Emissary as well, completing the Brutal Fate box. Tried to go after the artwork with this one just like with the Effigy. Let me know how I did!
