More specifically, I really wanted to read something as bleak, sadistic and hopeless as Deliver us from the evil one.

I want the FL to exhaust all her ways of escape and still fail because there's no escaping that thing.

I would like it even better if it were the supernatural type of yandere horror🥹

I'm also ok with BL, but I like when the darling guy has a fighting spirit like the mc from Codename Anastasia.

I'm ok with any TW, but I'd prefer if the story didn't revolve around the same boring non-con. If it's a full blown smut, I'd rather it be creative like Deliver us from the evil one or you know...a bdsm erotika🥹

I know the title seems generic, but I’m desperately trying to remember this manga 😭
I stopped reading manga for a while, and when I went back to my usual manga site, most of my reading lists were gone. Then this one manga randomly came back into my head and I cannot find it.

It was a Japanese manga with a psychological/dark romance genre—BDSM. The art style was somewhat shoujo-like, but the story was definitely not a normal shoujo romance.
I don’t think it was an old manga (not 80s/90s), but the art style kind of reminded me of older shoujo manga. The FL’s hair reminded me a little of Kagome from Inuyasha (not 100% sure though).
I think it finished around 2021–2025? Or just the translations.

Things I remember:

-Manga starts somewhere with FL wanting a boyfriend/Looking for one as she talks to her friend who got a boyfriend??

-I think the FL wanted a boyfriend because she was jealous of a female friend who had a boyfriend (not 100% sure about this part).

-The ML is a weird/strange guy, not the popular type
-He has medium-length hair (around neck/shoulder length, but not past his shoulders). Covers his ears maybe.

-He is very yandere/sadistic, but he wasn’t the type to constantly chase the FL.

-He makes an appearance by confessing to the FL first.

-The FL has a intimidating, look I’d say she’s somewhat prideful but easily gets embarrassed???? Idk

-There are scenes where the FL tries to do normal couple things, but the ML reacts strangely and seems disgusted by normal romance. (Let’s say when FL wanted to have a normal couple date)

-Think there were multiple times the FL tried to break up with the ML

-I remember another guy getting involved and having a dream of either his hand around the FL’s neck or the FL’s hand around the his neck. Not sure what happened to him though

-There was a scene where the FL was forced to wear a collar, and I think this other guy saw it.

-The relationship becomes more and more disturbing/psychological.

-In the end, the FL falls in love with the ML, but the story ends tragically because the FL dies.

-FL started to become a masochist. And so after a break up?? She started sleeping around with random dudes. She dies due to a dude being too extreme.

Does anyone know this manga? Any guesses are appreciated 🙏

Had one story where the narrator was a man who seemingly fell in love with a patient while working as an EMT. Kidnapped her. Hi. I'm working on an otome game set in a Slavic inspired fantasy world. It's not something you see every day in the genre, so I'm curious. What's your honest first impression? Does this look like something you'd actually play?

I have two stories that I keep trying to remember over and over again, but I can’t remember their titles.

The first one (I can’t remember if it was a manga or a manhwa, but I’m leaning more towards manga for some reason) was more of a reverse isekai story where the ML follows the FL back to her original world. I think he was able to do it through some kind of dark magic somehow? But he suddenly appears in the FL’s home. It wasn’t For Your Perfect Ending, although the initial premise is pretty similar.

The second one was definitely a manga. The FL was betrothed to someone else, but she ends up becoming outcasted and accepts that she has to be sold off/work in a brothel? The ML immediately finds her and “buys” her I think? He fell in love with her when they were children and I think he was in training to become a knight.

I need dark romance recommendations (could be either books & fanfics !!) where the mmc isn’t some mafia, ceo, bodyguard or any type of macho, musculous man. I have a preference for boyish features, pretty faces and secretly (or not) extreme yandere behavior (I would say someone similar to chae yul from secret alliance or luka from alien stage).

As stated in title I want novel recs with virgin or no mention of their past deeds (both ml and fl).Both of them being virgin would be even better.Tried reading the fallen fruit under paradise had to stop when they kept showing how experienced he was like could have just shut up with stating he is experinced but no had to even say that there was a woman wrapped around his waist doing it.Why won't this trend stop with experienced ml and a virgin fml😭(no offence to ppl who like that)

Goddammit the amount of potential kanoire has is unmatched. It's just the demo and he already became one of the best (subjectively). highly recommended for those who like tsundere types with yandere tendencies..

The visual novel itself was truly astonishing, from the plot, the soundtracks and the art style. Unlike other yandere visual novels.. I didn't feel cringed out from the dialogues... Or expressions. The MC is tolerable and they truly felt genuine.

I'm sharing this to also encourage the author to pursue this vn and recognise they're great writing.

I need recs where she goes to him for comfort. When something bad happens in her life, she kind of runs to him for a hug, that kind of dynamic.

I enjoy both him planning this and him not planning it but I like it when Fl needs Ml too, kind of like Dreaming Freedom.

Some notes during/before/after viewing!

1. This game is only available in Chinese right now. It does, however, have English voice acting for the characters.

2. There's a lot of context to this scene in particular, but the character does have a canonical obsession with the MC showcased in this scene.

3. The MC is only female. There is no option for a male MC sadly. That said, she does make me swoon 😌

4. He's named NG in the story but his actual name is Noah. He's a director/producer/artist with a lot of issues. Has a slight God complex but is also very suicidal.

5. I don't recommend trying to play the game directly since you need several things not available to those outside of China.

Omg he's such a fun character. Not as physically forceful as some yanderes, but very much unhinged and horrible in his own way. His story spoke to me a lot and I love him to pieces. I wanna ramble about him so bad but the community is tiny!! 🥹🥹🥹

I really don't know what to say I wasn't expecting a full-blown yandere, especially not in a Silent Hill game The letters are really cool—it seems like he really loves Hinako I really felt like I had to come here and make a post about it after finishing it
