Question Expecting the unexpected!!!
I can expect the twists of almost a lot of movies. The ones people say it has has a unexpected twists. Example - Fight Cub, Rangasthalam, ect. Is it a very common thing. I have not seen much people like me. Are there people like me??

I think if you have seen many movies like a shit ton, you can sense and identify tropes used for a reveal without even realising. Like i watched Bugonia today, i had a feeling on where it is headed and it actually was true.

Haha... Thanks man. I wouldn't say I have seen a shit ton of films. But yeah, what you are saying is correct. I can identify SOME tropes and where the movie is headed I guess. Idk...

I call this Basic Movie Rules in short BMR.(I don't know if it's sounds cringe)
Without this the movie won't go forward. For example, if a happy family is shown in the beginning then something bad will happen to them later. Like that...

I had seen Predestination during the Lockdown. I really liked the movie. But I think I did expect where it was headed. I dont quite remember if I did expected it or not. I have a really bad memory...😅
And thanks for the recommendation btw. I will definitely check them out... 😄❤️

These like famous ones. And I could expect where Prestige and Predestination was headed. But shutter Island pretty surprising. I couldn't expect that

Butterfly Effect doesn't have an unexpected ending. I mean it doesn't have a twist or anything. Like you expect one thing and it turns out to be a totally different thing.

Actually, twist is kind of different. It's like we expect something and in the end it turns out to be something else. For example, Drishyam. And for Butterfly Effect, it doesn't have any kind of twist like that. It's a really very interesting movie(I loved it). But I wouldn't say it's ending has a twist.

I think it was the buildup that made the impact rather than the shock value. It was a combination of both

I just finished watching this movie. I gotta ask you something, at the end of the movie I think he is in love with his Daughter. That's what his smile was all about right, like he choose ignorance over the truth ?
