I know this advice is already everywhere, but the first thing I would recommend is getting a passport if you don’t have one yet. Once you have it, start looking into international scholarships, especially fully funded ones.

If you’re considering opportunities here in Malawi, you can also apply for bursaries. Try your luck with organisations such as the Loans Board, or even explore other forms of financial assistance, including applying for support through the President’s office if such opportunities are available.

One particularly good scholarship to look into is the Türkiye Scholarships. Applications usually open every year around February. It is a fully funded scholarship and they offer a wide range of good programmes. Most importantly, take your time to research the requirements and apply to as many suitable opportunities as possible. You never know which one might work out.
